Nice memories mate, there's some stunning scenery up there where the moors run straight to the sea! We're all good thank you, kids are growing up too quick, but what can you do!

Nice up the North Devon coast mate, my old man had a pub in Combe Martin for 12 years, good times! We've got a rental up there still, took me ages renovating the place... its on a long term let but want to go on holiday letting in the future so we can use it a bit...

Its really gone down hill over the last 15 years or so D, hasn't it... it was always "rough and ready".... but its falling apart now... Used to have great nights there though as a youngster, Sailors or Berties to finish the night lol

Over the years every bait has been in the fridge, maggots, rag, lug, crabs etc.. she was pretty good but the crab in the lettuce broke her lol When I was a kid we travelled around Ireland in my old mans transit van... roughing it fir 6 weeks holiday..fished every stop, either sea or course.. headed up to Cavan to fish the lakes and discovered id lost most of my maggots somewhere in the van... mother says not to tell my dad...he was a bit temperamental at times... he found out a couple of weeks later when there were hundreds of flies rising on a daily basis... Spent loads of time in Newquay over the years... its just getting really run down now, it was a cracking night out as a young man, loads of good memories.. If you like Brixham you'll enjoy a night our in Looe as well... decent fishing town with good pubs...

Had a dozen peelers in the fridge...got to the beach and only 11 in the box... the other was hidden in the lettuce... luckily my Mrs found it when she went to make a sandwich.. .. Next purchase was a bait fridge! Lol

Fair play to her... left my wallet home today, she got me lunch and drove the wallet down to me... said she was off to get a rib of beef for tea.. she's in my good books tonight! Lol

Put up 2 units 15 years ago, they spent £30k on a "bat house" was a proper full building... As I always tell the kids, we have no bats here...??
