    Just local track and coursing dogs , Cheers Old Timer bit odd that-do you know which ones-English coursing lines are practically extinct-Probably less than 4 or 5 dogs still alive off them lines..Shame really generation after generation of waterloo cup winners all gone for nothing and allowed to die out..There was a bitch running at peterborough that i was trying to aquire but had no luck contacting her owner.

    Let me assure you Dobermanns are thick as f**k and certainly have no fire, judge is quite correct, nervousness is rife in the breed.......... Yeah most of them are shit-the brother had 2 that were about as affective at guarding as a gerbil would be-saying that the best guard dog ive ever seen was a doberman.

    Id say there hasnt been any working kerry blues as a rule since around 90 years ago-Michael Collins Had one -so they became very popular after independence-leading to their decline i.m.o., My g.grandmother (born 1899 died 1998) said she remembered people fighting them-which i think was probably what they were for. I realise a few of them qualified in trials but not as many as say wheatens or staffs given kerry blues were a more numerous breed.

    id two greyhounds try to wriggle down a huge sett this morning after a fox they put up out of rushes,ive seen fair size terriers get up to their gamre-the first dog i ever saw dug to as a child was a fullbred beagle bitch that got lost by a hare pack and was living wild in a local bog for several months. A local terrier man made a trap and caught her.All the teagle pups off her worked to ground as well.

    a hard question to answer,mustang jack the greyhound never raced and sired the winner of the best irish derby i remember(2001).I dont think work purifies a dogs bollix or anything-he will throw the same pups whether he was worked or not-but ive seen dogs from the best of breeding quit-just because a dog has a certain name in their pedigree it dont mean he is carrying any of their genes- then again he could be carryin all of them..Did you ever see a child that looks exactly like one of their grandparents and nothing like their own parents

    you tell me of a 5 month old pup raggin rats. i had a half glen bitch here that was hunting them mad and killing them at 8 weeks old.she was possessed by the devil.

    best of luck with it,a friend of mine had a cairn x russell years ago that was a right hard little bitch so youd never know.

    i know what you mean pa but youd have to be watching the camera just as they were there,The champion greyhound ardkill jamie was stolen up the country about 10 months back-never seen again (probably worth a few hundred grand ,so id say they had cameras)

    Thats so the pups will sell ,i think if you breed greyhounds too close they will fight on the track .American dogs tend to be a lot less inbred than here or australia-and seem to be able to handle a lot more races in their career

    i think something like 13 olympic medallists came from the same village as him and linford christie and ben johnson were born near enough to there as well-definitely in the blood

    some kind of tredmill maybe or take him for longer walks-i.m.o you should take him bushing rabbits-you never know you might start to enjoy it after a while when you see him enjoying himself
