im back and its starting 2 go good
markha replied to hunter1989's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Stuff him, I dont know why some of the guys on here are so bothered about this lad and stand up for him and welcome him back on the forums etc etc. This lads antics are as plain as glass and anyone who sticks up for him is falling for some cheap lines from a waster. The police probably already have his name on a list, prison beckons and the rest of his life will be turbulent - well thats what I hope waits him as he gets older (not 'grows up, as his character type never do). You think your some kind of big bad airgun dealer/scammer and probably have some street cred with all the little -
Combro cb-625 MArk 4
markha replied to secretagentmole's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I have one and also had an F1 in the past, the Combro is just as good, and in essence they tend to give results a little on the high side when compared to high end chrono's, so there is a bit of a margin when wishing to keep your output below the legal limit. Moley, why dont you just find out your pellet weight and enter it into the Combro?, there is no need for an extra website or anything else.... There is a pellet weight data chart on this site somewhere, with the actual pellet weights from different brands. -
Nice one mate, glad to see you back on THL as well. Cheers for now Mark
-
Mole, you should run a string of at least 60 shots, plus the CBR stores data for lowest, highest and average results in both FPS and ftlbs. Its not the FPS you need to worry about its the ftlbs mate.
-
I would do a full shot string through the chrono with the X2 from a full charge down to minimum and also double check the pellet weight you have entered in the chrono, 11.56 is far to close to legal limit, changes in ambient air temperature and air pressure could put that over the legal limit easily. Do a double check.

What are the best pellets for rabbits
markha replied to Alfybaby21's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Air Arms Field, H&N FTT, RWS super domes, FX, all good dome pellets, most barrels will work well with any of them, but may well work better with one particular brand/type. In fact I have the following tins of pellets you, or anyone else can have FOC and post free: H&N FTT .22 15.1gr in size 5.53mm theres about 50 pellets left in the tin Crossman Premier Ultra Magnums 14.3gr .22 theres about pellets left in the tin Cheers M -

dsc 1 booked sgc/fac applied for!!!!
markha replied to stav#69's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Congratulations mate, I put in a FAC application last week, double checked they had got it today, and they confirmed it was now being processed. Im guessing it will take the same amount of times as it took for the SGC which was 13 weeks. -
Last October saw mixy hit up here very hard and wiped out all the little critters, which was nice as It freed up some evenings to tackle foxes. No mixy about at the moment.

Bud, you did the right thing in walking away and being calm and diplomatic, should feel proud of that. Remember Karma is always at work and she will get her share of it, you may be lucky and be able to witness that happen, maybe, however its just as good knowing that one day shit will fly back at her. Perhaps a pigeon will spook a rabbit in to bolting at her horse, which then throws her off, the rest of her fated injuries will then be up to Karma

A pest control job on the new permission and some woodys
markha replied to zini's topic in Airgun Hunting
Andy - Nail - head - Hit Its easy to criticise from a distance, when you dont know the true and full facts. On the otherside of the coin however I can see why the moderation team may have concerns: Shooting Times 13th April Page 13 under the banner "Have your say". Read it and all will fit into place. -
Shooting Times 13th April Page 13 under the banner "Have your say". Seems that someone has been reading either The THL or Pigeon Watch forums and has posted a letter regarding forum posts about 'bagging up'. I agree with this guy completely, stop posting pics or bragging about big hauls of animals you have shot.

Great to hear your back on track mate, did wonder where you had been. A couple of nice shots there Shay, how you finding the 410 mate?, thinking about getting one. Well your back in time for the summer shooting mate All the best Mark
-
Well done, thats also a nice bit of wood

Yep whistling is what I did, regarding your 2500 rabbits between 2 of you over 60 days now you say the picture was from another shoot for airgun mag; with 4 shooters over 24hrs, then you post another pic above with a hundred or so rabbits in it but say there were 350, fine if thats the case, but theres no good posting pics of a small haul of bunnies and mention the number 2500 in the same sentence. Why not you might say? Well because personally if I shoot 6 rabbits and can be bothered to take a picture then it will contain 6 rabbits, Believe me mate, If I Had a haul of 350 rabbits over a 2

Laser Genetics ND3X50 Review
markha replied to fireblade_rrw's topic in Reloading and Gun Maintenance
Thanks for the write up mate. I'm sure there will be a lot of people interested in seeing some good quality pictures of it in use at night as there are not a lot of useful reviews about at the moment. Happy hunting, I hope it does what you want it to do realistically.
