Lol, it looks a gangly, big boned sort of a pup, give it some time to mature before it's run at anything really, and rabbits are not ideally suited for a big framed type of pup of any x or breeding to pick up whilst still so young. @ Carlton, no offence

Lurchers have long had umpteen different breeds in them. Once upon a time people would put useful dog to useful bitch without caring or knowing exactly what breeds were in them. They produced lurchers. It doesn't have to be a first, second or even third cross to produce a good animal. My own lurchers have so many breeds in them I wouldn't know where to start, but they are lurchers and have been since before the 1960s and for who knows how long before then. I know for certain that there is Collie, Greyhound, Bedlington, Deerhound, Saluki in there, but there's bound to be more. No pure breed has -

Maybe read you slightly wrong? And I aint telling anyone what type to pick, just that traditional types are more than capable of all types of normal lurcherwork, and that the working lurcher scene has gone downhill since all these different types have come in, and the shit that's been bred from the poor specimens which alot of people breed from is cause for some concern. And for you to suggest that a bull x is capable of practically everything is, to me, certainly not correct. And cargol was asking for a type that could do a bit of everything, which I've personally never seen a bull x do. Not

I agree with that. Years ago you only had a few different traditional lurcher x's, collies of some sort, and terriers, beddies normally, and longdogs, deerhound/greyound or whippet/greyhound, and lurchers, lurcherwok and owners were better for it. Nowadays you've got gsd, dutch shepherds, malinois, salukis, airdales, wheatens, foxhound, pointer and not forgetting the BULL X!! And look at the shit that's been bred since these types have been around! Lol You very very clearly don't know me To me hare smells and tastes rotten - I'll stand by that!!! And have tried all sorts of recipes a with them.I can't even give them away. Ok, but what about the bread crusts?! Lol . And just to clarify, I LOVE hare meat, but rabbit is faaackin awful! Lol Yep bread crusts are nice but I like rabbit. That's the thing walkiking up he ain't spotting them so didn't slip him . He's all bloody ears lol . Will keep going hopefully get a squater soon , Try and get one running so he sees it easier
