  1. Aye, and this sounds favourite to me, a phezzie jalfrezi ?
  2. We are all made of stars ?
  3. Just had to double check I wasn't still on the 'aliens' thread ?
  4. All very valid and thought provoking lads. But I'm sticking with the 'infinity' theory ?
  5. That you as a nipper in the pic on left? Lol. Good pics ?
  6. Last probably 8 or 9 fights I've watched have been on you tube, normally about 2 or 3 days after the actual fight. Don't bother me anymore if I see the fight as it happens or not. Heavyweights, as a category in general, have been going downhill for at least the last 10 years. And if people can get excited by joshua, fury, or the majority of hyped up dross that is about these days, they need to look back to the 70's and 80's. Todays heavyweights are terrible
  7. Best idea mate. Last time I watched and paid for a ppv fight, was 2002, when lewis fought a totally washed up and 2nd rate tyson
  8. Something with gsd and/or whippet, would be my guess ?. Have to say mind, I agree with him in some ways. Most of the better lurchers I've ever seen had whippet blood in them, especially some of the grey/collie/whippet types ?
  9. Lol that's what threw me. Adam C and Adampie8432, both got beddy bitches, but Adam C has put a beddy dog over his bitch, and Adampie8432 has put a whippet/beddy/whippet over his bitch lol ?
  10. Ah right . Just been going through different threads, I got you confused with Adampie8432, he's put his 3/4 whippet/bedddy over his beddy bitch, it's on the bushing section, under 'terriers'. With all the fiasco etc over what was said after your original question, when you were looking for a stud for your bitch, I thought you'd changed your mind lol. Good luck with your pups ?
  11. Adam, are these the 5/8 beddy 3/8 whippet?
  12. Sounds like alot going on in your house, without much regularity to it. Ie, you going to work at different times, for different lengths of time. And getting up at 3 am aint going to help you either. You say you put him back in the crate, well, leave him in there overnight til you get up in the morning, or put him somewhere where there's no carpeting for him to soil, I leave all my pups in the hallway in the crate with door open. The quicker you get into a set routine, and stick to it, the quicker the pup will learn
  13. Not disagreeing mate. And just realised that I replied to the 'daytime' thread with a lamping reply! Lol. Yes I know there's plenty of arable land up north and scotland etc, was just saying that there does seem to be far more areas in the north than the south, where the land is far more conducive to catching bigger numbers, especially the land immediately around my way ?
  14. I just replied to the wrong thread! Lol ?
  15. Hah, north then. You wouldn't have had the same results down south, FACT
  16. Truth to be told, ALL northern rabbits, whether scottish or otherwise, ARE easier to catch than southern rabbits, FACT ?
  17. Interesting that mate. My ex mrs had a welsh sheepdog bitch which we picked up from aberystywyth about 15 years ago. Think it was from jonathan davies' farm. He had a superb rangy black and tan dog there about 24" tts. From the little I do know of them, I'd say yes, they are more independant than borders, and generally a bit taller and rangier
  18. Mostly Deerhound/collie/grey, whippet/collie/grey, or a combination of all of those. Also whippet/greyhounds ?
  19. You know my stand on collie crosses in general gnipper. And I think there's alot to be said for plain old lurcher to lurcher bred litters, never mind all this 1st cross or 3/4 bred whatever type. And certainly, all the lurchers I saw growing up, were lurcher to lurcher. And as far as I'm aware, and researching as far back as I can go, most lurchers would've been practically plain old mongrels with just a dash of sighthound
  20. Well this certainly aint beating about the bush. I will NEVER EVER own another dog, never mind just lurcher, with beardie blood!! Love staffs, pits etc, but not bull cross lurchers. I know they have their place for some, but not for me. Wheaten crosses the same, especially with all that coat. And 90% of the beddy crosses that I've seen have the worst coats of of any working dog I've seen. Not that I've seen loads, as they were never that common a type around me, and I don't do many shows to see that many
