    Ferretgirl29, you say you aint in a rush for a pup, so what katchum said about waiting til spring is probably your best bet. Also the best time to have a pup about. Obviously up to you if you want to make cakes til then though lol ?. By the way, grey/collie/whippets normally make great ferreting dogs, but also good should you wish to do a little more in future ?

    I know more than a few people that have had dogs from there since he started breeding, and a few that still do. Also know plenty of dogs bred from hancock dogs, my old dog included. A couple have been average, some very good and some superb. Regularly taking all quarry, day and night, up and down the country. Also know a couple of guys that will only have their lurchers from there ?

    Agree with that mate. And I personally know of collie/greys bred exactly as you've said, hancock bred to hancock bred, and alot of them are superb dogs, taking all quarry day and night on a very regular basis. And a couple of whippets I've owned in the past that were very good workers, their parents and granparents hadn't ever seen a rabbit, never mind chase one lol ?

    They definitely out there though, as you know. Just the fact they don't breed many litters, just as replacements etc. But with hancock, you can get one when you like

    On all these reports, as soon as I read the words 'defenceless animals' I more or less stop reading, and just 'skim' through it. Vegans = unhealthy as f**k, vegetarians = hypocrital nerks. I suppose the fish they are very happy to eat are armed to the teeth?! ?

    Try loweing the amount of bone in it's food as well. Too much bone will dry a dog up, making it's shit very hard in no time
