    Got a 16month old beddy/collie greyhound hybrid if it’s there she’ll find it or if it’s recently been there she’ll pick up on scent an track it but tracking stuff that’s big an done a runner headed 3-4 fields away or cut across a couple of forestry blocks for a dog to runs not my style I call her off tbh I want control over her with all the nosy fuckers round here I can’t be assed to spend money on the latest gps tracker an having a dog I’ve no control over an can’t see running loose in the country side a mile away

    I just deleted the cigarette plugs mate problem lays in weak cheap shit fittings lamp works a treat now my lamps a predator variable it ain’t got no orange piece to pop off

    Alright mate I’ve not had no problem with the 2pin plug to the battery it’s just the cigarette plug end to lamp that’s give me problems I’m gunner cut/delete the male an female plug

    It’s the bottom of the plug mate the solder joints keep melting off it’s not popping the fuse the plug popping out

    That’s my thought the fuse is in there for a reason I’m wondering if it’s because last season I thought I’d treat the lamp to a 100w new bulb instead of the 75w fitted as std I’m wondering if the current draw on it is heating the solder up maybe the little China man that soldered the joints didn’t flux them ?? Might just cut the plugs off straight solder the wires then shrink wrap sleeve them then electrical tape them

    Burning out cigar plug fittings on lamp twice I’ve had this happen now pretty shit to be honest especially lamp cutting out in the middle of the dog running this ones only done a few trips An it’s buggered all ready thinking might just do away with it straight wire it? This is the first problems I’ve had with this lamp an I’ve had it a while I don’t want to go LED as I can’t see down the beam with the white light

    Get a lamp an get the dog out if it’s old enough an has some basic training. take what people say on here with a pinch of salt.only thing I’d say is don’t expect miracles an expect the dog to be taking stuff out of its calibre straight away take it slow an steady an don’t over match the dog on impossible catches build on confidence in the dog good dogs are made by the person holding the slip if the dog as it in em all the best fella

    Starting to figure the lamp out now watches the beam I like her running style she’s not the fastest dog I’ve run but I wanted a more sturdy type rather than a racey type but definitely got a decent running style Pretty aggressive style I like it think me an her will enjoy a hopefully long career together hope I can keep putting gear her way to keep pushing forward
