  1. I love a bit of good bedlington blood in my Lurchers not a fan of bedlington x whippets tbh there pretty to look at though love a racey bred collie/greyhound x bedlington greyhound ticks all boxes for me
  2. Got a old bedlington x bitch here she’s 12/13 with a few cancerous tumers my vet said soon as we start f***ing with them it’ll spread no point in a old dog I’m the same with this bitch any uncomfortableness or the bitch looks down in the dumps I’ll make the call. Fecking bedlington x is like a cat so many times this bitch has been nocking on heavens door over the years but always bounces back But sadly time stands still for no one
  3. I think on the bitch she retired It was spinal injury she’d lost sensation in her leg for a while but Can’t really run for a living no more and can’t be a back up dog as she’s not fit for running although mined says otherwise so she was retired the bitch that was bred had picked up muscle injury and was out of action vicky races her dogs an works them hard so a bitch out of action An needing another pup to bring on was a no brainer rather than breeding a replacement next year ps pups born safe An well and are all spoken for??
  4. Come September I’ll be seeing if theres talent of my own to be spotted f**k the show ring stuff I’ve got no talent for putting in to that?? last time I tried seeing if I had any talent my dog didn’t even get checked over by the guy judging poor bit of judging tbh he was to busy putting a line up of his mates 3dogs being shown by different people while he waited at the perimeter fence to see how the show stars do crooked old doo that! I’d rather race a dog than show any day
  5. Probably talent spotted for its acting career as a good working dog an the owner dressed in a country man fancy dress costume trying to fool the gullible trying to pass the dog off as something it’s not......got to be a case of the gullible trying to fool the gullible ??
  6. Like what’s already been said they’ve payed you for the pup they own the pup it’s up to them what they do with it as you have no say in the matter after you’ve been payed as it no longer has nothing to do with you sadly fella I had to take a bit of advice similar to this once got me thinking about sorting people I don’t really know out a pup hard pill to swallow sometimes fella
  7. I know it’s nothing new fella but with how popular shows/racing as become it’s attracting people just interested in the showing/bag chasing not the working side of things or promoting the working dog at a working dog show/racing event look at the line up of show winners at most shows these days as close as conformation as a greyhound never no thick set dogs that could take a nock or two on a nights lamping they all look the same in conformation but I do love a good under dog bred for work to wipe smiles off faces an steal there glory ????
  8. Mooch the racing as gone mad at a lot of events/shows these days the dogs have slowly become pretty much purposeful bred race dogs I see some fella at a event I went to racing a pure greyhound that he was trying to blag off as a lurcher saying 1/16 collie lol it was a greyhound don’t know who he was trying to kid, there’s a hell of a lot of heavily bred sight hound bred Lurchers there racing to that are so over bred there all only raced in the dash there owners are not up for courseing them they make there excuses an get out of there but say there working dogs in the show ring even though the
  9. One thing I’ve noticed about shows is there’s a band of followers that go to most shows up an down the country same faces at most shows most weekends most of the show organisers an judges are the same they follow the show circuits be it showing, judgeing there selfs so they get to see who’s been placed at other more important shows as qualifiers for other important shows so they can’t not place a dog that done so well the weekend under the same judge or there friend! But if Dog /dogs from a show the weekend before ain’t at the show it’s normally done a bit fairer I used to get to a lot of shows
  10. I’ve not got a pointer cross An can’t say I’ll have one to be honest just on the few things I’ve heard to me if there main use is bushing/mooching only for me it sounds a pointless cross because most people want a none restricted running dog that can be used for a bit of everything hunting wise unless that’s your thing. casting a dog out to run halfway up the mountain side to run it’s own game without my viewing is not my idea of good hunting if I’m not seeing a run I’d rather dogs that work reasonably close so I can at least see a run an see the dog work like I’ve said it sounds a restricted
  11. Kind of a pointless cross for most common hunting folks if hunting up is its speciality it sounds a restrictive cross tbh why would any one in modern time want that when there’s proven Lurcher to lurcher mixes with a bit of everything in them out there with collie, bedlington, bull to sight hounds doing all day/night I mean most Lurchers will bush if they know there job An want on gear so it’s kind of a bigger gamble than just trying the more common bred lurcher to lurcher crosses
  12. We go proper ymca style when we lamp it’s like gay pride at night on the beam ?️???
  13. Yeah me an blacky been smoking it though a bong all afternoon to much vitamin e intake ??? come lamping time we won’t need night vision
  14. True blacky but it’s not as if saluki greyhounds are a none common cross like f1collie greyhounds or f1 bedlington greyhounds but get what ye saying razzda
  15. If your prepared to wait there’s not much point in breeding taking chances you may as well wait till someone else breeds An fetch a pup in off them the chances are the same without having all the hassle of rearing pups An finding decent homes for them
  16. I’m guessing any one in the uk in modern times that’s bred a litter of f1 saluki greyhounds would of used a track dog or ex track dog to produce litters of coursing dogs the odds are still the same as breeding any dog there be good or bad same as good an bad dog men that can get the best out of a dog
  17. The way I’ve read the add is bedlington x whippet x greyhound making the dam quarter bred but I could be wrong I’m sure alun1960 will tell us when he’s on next he’s a sound guy either way 1/4 0r 1/8 bound to be good breeding behind them if aluns put a add up. Be some flying machines that’s for sure
  18. Think it’s 1/8 bedlington fred the rest running dog how I’ve read it.should be some quality pups that don’t hang about behind gear
  19. Be some flying machines them alun1960 ??
  20. Ok if that’s your opinion and what you believe good for you?? It accounts for nothing
  21. Mate it don’t make no difference I’m not a kiss an tell type and I’m not getting my wooden spoon out An getting it covered in other people’s shit not my business! that’s why I left it there I don’t get involved with all that shit this place is full of back stabbing c**ts any way I’d rather just banter with people than throw ammo at them than make enemies with them
