  1. I’m sure it will fella you know the drill slow An steady
  2. Just woken up fella to me sticking my big coconut in there to check up all’s well
  3. Cheers fella ??I don’t need no bull blood for my personal needs the dam & sire to the white un managed just fine with out it An the pups dam an sire done the same I like the old style stuff that’s used for a manner of different tasks I’ve nothing against bull blood but it just don’t work for me
  4. The way I’ve said I’d breed is a working type bred from workers to be workers a dog that actually looks what it’s meant to be it was just my opinion of how I’d do things if it was me breeding them (I’m never going to breed bedlington whippets) so it’s all hypothetical speaking I mean you could go An pick a whippet up doing the same job I’m just in the opinion if your going to have a bedlington x whippet it’s got to be a rough coated one so is what your saying katch is your the same as the rest of us on the hunting life ffs
  5. I should of made it a bit clearer what I was getting at but would of thought being a working/hunting forum it would of been obvious tbh
  6. Definitely that fred that’s exactly what I meant mate
  7. I know mate she’s a fiery little shit don’t mind a bit of rough an tumble with the big dogs as well. I’m expecting warning notifications off fb for this picture as peta are in bed with Facebook ? all the herbivores will be threatening to beat me up??
  8. I’ll try not to fella but you know how it is ??
  9. She seems to of kenneled really easy with her auntie
  10. Yes mate I’ve fetched her she’s a little cracker already had her first kill lol and settling in really well
  11. Might as well just get a whippet ??A bedlington whippet should always be type bred An work bred at the same time in my eyes or your breeding out what your trying to achieve in the first place by adding bedlington blood to begin with
  12. My bitches mother an daughter
  13. Bedlington whippets it’s all a case of pay your money take your chances and enjoy the dog for what it is I personally think a lot of people over charge for them these days I see a hell of a lot of over bred smooth coated bedlington whippets offered for sale at a premium I noticed people just keep adding whippet all the time every time they breed them it don’t make no sense to me ironing out the base blood like that as what’s the point in adding base blood if you take it away ??If I was in to the breeding of them I’d breed f1 put back to a whippet then back to half cross an I’d keep to that
  14. Cheers shark ?? She does don’t she the sire has over a 1/4 bedlington in him an the dam has 1/4 bedlington be interesting to see what she makes to the shoulders dam is 24.5 an sire 24 but both the litter they came from we’re various in size
  15. To be honest I’d of thought most sheep farmers would be letting lads with stock steady Lurchers run the beam on there land at night or a bit of ferreting with the spate of lambs being butchered in fields it’s a free deterrent for them from these Romanian twats butchering there stock i mean if you have a way with words An are witty enough sheep farms should be easy pickings for the rabbiting man/lamper and good sturdy friendships should be made to get access to other running land especially if you tell them your all eyes an ears it’s a game changer you can find your self with more land to run o
  16. Cheers Phil ??Wouldn’t let me reply to your comment. Should be a proper mooching type hopefully don’t think this pup will be as racey as her aunt or nan that I have but more a compact strong type this time I picked a pup I went a completely different way about things than I normally go for longest back compact head long tail half decent feet long legs decent coat this time I just picked the first one that took my eye at 2hrs old in my head I didn’t know if this pup was available to me yet has her breeder hadn’t picked her keeper but really hoped it was I went to see the litter at a week old
  17. Cheers van man ??Can’t wait to start training her Really looking forward to it
  18. Cheers salt ??Hopefully mate I’ve had no problems with my bitch seems to be sorted so fingers crossed it’s all plain sailing I want to see what she can really do this season I’ve a good feeling I’ve got her a apprenticeship along side a mates dog for when we’re ready to turn the heat up abit to find out if she’s got it or not
