    hes asking a question thats how to learn guess you must have known from the cradle being such an expert maybe he should have done a bit of question asking and learning before getting the pups? fair enough you do a lot of learning once you get the pup but you should at least know the basics of rearing a pup before getting one.

    get a pup walking through livestock as soon as you can. you need them to learn from a young age that farm animals are not hunting quarry. don't leave it too late like a lot of people do.

    in my opinion the problem is there is too many lads that start hunting for a season or two because they think its "cool" or its the "in thing" in their area at the time then when they get bored the dogs end up in rescue centers with no home. Most of the pet lurchers i come across are from rescue centers. but hey, if we could control the nobs in our game i am sure we wouldn't have a ban to deal with. i think personally a rescued dog is automatically branded with having a bad life in the past? and when people say "my lurcher is a rescue dog and an x worker" people automatically think a work

    Been reading another thread on here today where 50 poilce officers and 19 RSPCA officers were involved in a raid because lads were suspected of hunting cats. I wonder if the police and RSPCA will put that much effort into catching whoever did this to them dogs.....i highly doubt it.

    i have a deerhoundxgreyxbull and he is about 18 month now. he has been working on the lamp for a while but has only stareted to calm down the past month. before, all he wanted to do was play and was very puppyish, but even now you can still see the puppy inside him now on walks wanting to play all the time. but as soon as your out on the lamp he switches and acts very mature. Physicality wise, he has been a lump since he was about 12 months but only the past 2/3 months has started to bulk out and doesnt look as racy and leggy. this is when he was about 12 monthish and this is most rece
