  2. I have been offered one of these chips second hand for my discovery. The lad wont give me a price but is open to offers but I have no idea how much they are worth and dont want to be ripped off. Anybody have any ideas how much these chips are worth second hand? The link below shows the spec in the website http://www.psi-motorsport.com/turbodiesel/fiche-e.php?selectid=141&lg=en Any help would be appreciated.
  3. its not all bad baw, on my facebook page i regularly upload pictures of my dogs and am pleasantly surprised in the interest i get off some people. some of my mates are from town and are always asking to come along lamping and are fascinated at the fact a dog can actually catch a rabbit. and when they come along and see it for themselves its a good feeling seeing them amazed by it and it makes you proud to be a hunter. i have hunting stickers on my car because i am proud of it and if people dont agree with what we do then f**k them. rise above it. there will always be people looking down on us
  4. hes looking good now bud hes doing well mate
  5. not long after I had him.... this pic taken today at 2 year old.
  6. you obviously had a sh*t dog then.
  7. not the London marathon but me and some mates registered to do the Tough Mudder in October. Why I don't know
  8. foud mine slow to mature around the house and with other dogs etc. all he ever wants to do is play and piss about when not out in the field. but however when you set out with a lamp in your hand its as if a switch has gone of in his head and he just goes into "hunting mode".
  9. does anybody know where you can buy decent centre swivel fox snares online? Thanks
  10. My dog coming up to 2 years old now, doing me proud. been hard work but worth it in the end. I can see where you are coming from though, i think a lot of it is people want to show off their new pup once they have had it to other people on here.
  11. sorry pal but some of us just cant afford to let the fox kill the lambs and then go after her. enough lambs are being lost with this shitty snow never mind giving a vixen a chance to drain some more money from the pocket. I would obviously rather see a cub hunted when its old enough to fight for its self but some of us just cant take that chance. i have seen the damage a fox does no newborn lambs and i doubt she had a lot of respect for me when killing every lamb in site, you can argue shes doing it to survive but thats just what us farmers are trying to do too. obviously respect is shown when
  12. im not trying to make you look stupid here...but are you serious? the elements will hardly affect their numbers? if theres wind and snow and a drop in temperature the rabbit will use more energy to keep warm yes? so if its using more energy it will need more food? food wont grow for the rabbit if the temperature is low so where is this exra food going to come from? and if mummy rabbit has young to feed she will need even more enegry to produce milk! the elements obviously has an affect on their numbers pal. think before you post such a stupid comment.
  13. does it not occur to you that some people dont just hunt for sport, but do it because rabbits/foxes are an actual pest and need geting rid of? do you think farmers are going to stand about and let foxes take the lambs this time of year just because of your stupid "season"? And let the rabbit population regenerate so they can keep wrecking the same hedges year after year? stupid c**t Fair enough if they are causing a problem but i doubt most are doing it for pest control. there was no mention of doing it for pest control until i made a post which is why in my opinion most who posted on this

  15. could try Admiral. Im 20 years old, buying a 2.5 Diesel td5 in the next month or so and got a quote of £400 for 6 months until my current insurance runs out.
  16. how long have you had the trap set? i would be patient with the rabbit, the more rotten and mingin the rabbit gets the more chance you have.
  17. I am thinking of selling my car in the next month or so as its time for me to get a 4x4! she has covered just under 63k and has MOT and Tax untill July. I will service the car before I sell and it has only recently has 4 new tyres. Also has half leather interior. Only bad thing about the car is the passenger door doesnt open from the inside, but I will try to get this fixed in the next few weeks. I have had the car for two years, since I was 18 and has been cheap for me to run and insure. good first car or a cheap runner. I would be asking £1500 for the car, so if you think your interested dro
  18. it takes time to mature when out on walks and simmering with other dogs, but when out hunting with hounds and lamping at night the deerhound x knows exacly what to do from a young age (9months+) and i am saying this from experience of owning a deerhound x. but saying that, i have never reared any other x from a pup so will be interesting to see what other people day.
  19. "any x that has no bull saluki or whippet in it is a goodun" got to disagree with you there mate. surely saluki would benefit when coursint a hare and a touch of bull would help on the reds. especially doing a few in one day/night.
  20. keep it clean with antiseptic spray and she will be fine mate.
  21. here is mine mate. hard worker when hes not licking his balls.
  22. i wouldnt put food at the bottom of the beam mate. plenty of work and he wil learn from experience.
