  1. I made my sticks out of 2 fibreglass longnet poles and 4 castration rings.

  3. Best Ive been offered is £1 per rabbit skinned and gutted which didn't interest me for the amount of work involved.

  7. I use a hill pump to fill my scorpion only takes a few minutes to top up. The pump I use has a filter which supposedly takes 90% of the moisture out of the air.
  8. I wish someone else would start making them as the prices deben sell theirs for are ridiculous. I think £100 with 2 collars would be a fair price.

  10. I would mate her with a snipped hob if available or get her jabbed.
  11. My hob sometimes moves while Im digging but if he does I carry on digging and usualy find a dead rabbit. There was one occasion at the start of the season I couldnt get to him through thick tree roots he stayed on that rabbit for well over an hour.
  12. I use the pinpointer in the same way you use the wheel on the mk1. Turn it down gradualy until you get a single tapping sound then youre right on top of the ferret.

  14. Did I read that right £35 for a jill jab? When I used to use the jab years ago it was £5. Hopefuly there will be someone on here who will loan you a snipped hob.
  15. How many meshes wide do you make your nets Andy? I make my 4ft nets shaped out to 20 meshes.
  16. I prefer spun poly. Easy to handle comes in bright colours and it doesnt rot like hemp.
  17. Is this a joke? Chin the rabbit in the net is the easiest way imo.
  18. I kept my old snipped hob with my jills year round with no problem. I just got another hob snipped so Im hoping its going to work out again.

  20. Ive been using a moxy box for the last 2 seasons. Top quality boxes and very comfortable to carry.
  21. I had my hob done yesterday at newnham vets in Maidstone cost me £71.57. I rang around and thats the cheapest I could find local the most expensive was £134. I am also supposed to book an appointment in 3-5 days but unless theres any swelling or anything I dont see the need.
