    Coming up 11 month and loving it... Needs more 1 on 1 mind, but I`m having trouble holding her back, and as part of my bobbery pack, shes doing fine. Cant wait for the weather and weeds to die... Ive had 2 pro dog walkers say they can see the saluki in her cos of her ears ? Can any one say where the big ears come from, collie, sal,whip, grey?. I`d say the collie, but even with my limited knowledge, they do look a tad big... Heres Mo-snakeyface-weasel.. Best dog in the world....

I think your the only other person Ive heard mention it. Yes mate, it's good gear. For some itches, where the dog is licking and biting itself and leaving a wet sore behind it is nothing to do with mites IMO. Once the anal glands have been cleared then a good course of Camrosa fettles it. I rate it above Maleseb. Nice. I think I`ll try and source a new jar today then. Give it a go.

    Keep an eye out for a rigger boot. You get loads of usable leather out of one. I prefer the dewalt oiled nubuck ones... Nice bit of gear that if you get one off a chippy or dry liner, only the toes go, the rest is pukka.

    Sounds like you`ve covered most safety measures. Obviously a net over the top would be better than string, as it dont seem to keep cormorants off ponds... What about a scarecrow or one of them big bird scaring eagle owl deeks on a high pole? Failing that I think the only thing you can do is only let them out when your in the yard too. You could put a cheap trail cam up, be certain who the culprit is.

Most people give up shooting after the first time Theres been a few corking pictures on here of smashed digits, heres a pretty tame one of my mate. He wont pick a catty up theres days :laugh:He lost his nail eventually.

    Bob, you are either banned from holding firearms, or you are not, which is it? If you are not banned, then providing you are shooting on permission, you are acting entirely within the law, if you are banned, I suggest you dispose of the hw95 rather quickly, in this day and age, if you are shooting on ground where you do not have authority, you only have yourself to blame, I am afraid. Where did I say I was banned? Where did I say permission? Do you not think I learnt my lesson and the law as a younger man, hence not taking it out.(unless I`m on permission).     I think if you have any sort of previous, then its in the slip and in the boot... Just aint worth the bother theses days. Example - Me and 3 pals were shooting over some waste ground and woodland, shot over there for years with no problems, mainly plinking with the odd pigeon and squirrel... Then as the new housing estate started getting built and inhabited, more and more people started using this bit of ground. Rest assured that I fully support the Hunting Act and see it as vital to protect animal welfare. As you know, this is not an issue that the Government has a formal position on – the repeal of the Hunting Act is not Conservative policy – the debate is being held to allow those who wish to repeal the Act to air their views, however there would be a free vote.
