  1. I`d like to think at least one made it. I doubt it though. Watched a documentary on it and they made it sound impossible with the currents in the bay and the water temps at the time of year. I think the law would have caught up with them by now or at least know where they are.
  2. I`ll give that a watch when I get a chance. Cheers.
  3. Don't agree with grassing either but IMO only a fool would turn down an invitation to an organisation where you get away with things. It's a no brainer. Theres always the police force...
  4. FFS. This place gets worse and its nowt to do with the banter. Its all the moaning. An age old adage, if you dont like it dont log in. This place would be shit without the banter, it carries the forum through the summer... Why dont you start your own forum Gaffer, run it with an iron fist, all sweetness and light, no farting ect and see how it does? My guess would be that you wouldnt be able to keep the numbers up with all the bans, then you would have a similar effect, a forum where no one posts...
  5. The burner is a good start. Ficam W then creosote the house. Duramitex on the birds. They will still come back though. I tried and it beat me...
  6. I`d be wary using carpet or 10mm square mesh. They can get caught and rip nails out when they topple off the ramp in the struggle or play fighting. What I normally do is tack lengths of 10mm square baton the width of the ramp on or cut grooves in the ramp every 1.5 inches. The groove cut method also works on bits of smooth pipe. It also helps keep the tubes clean(er) as the shed fur, dust and dander falls through. Tidy hutch by the way. Thats what my new builds look like in my head... The end result is usually a little different. Never had a ferret break out mind. I've made ramps in pas

  8. I wouldnt mind a 200lb cat caught on the Ebro sat in a float tube, that would be some ride. Go big or go home. Ive never even caught a kitten so it would definitely be an experience.
  9. Drop in night time temps brings them in. We have a real small loo and the spiders and moths love it, spiders for the warm and the moths for the light. First crane flys are about now too.
  10. The one I mentioned working with a the start of the thread was on site when the money men rolled up. As soon as he clocked the masons ring on one of the money mens hand, he was tripping over his dick to go speak to him, it was embarrassing, it really was. This and the fact my granddad gave them a swerve all his life and its taken for him to start to lose his marbles before he joined tells me all I need to know. Truth be told, I think he`s drew all his money and invested it in some gold deal. Dodgy as he`s always been money savvy.
  11. Nope, your not out of touch. The people in power simply dont give a shit. Your cries fall on deaf ears for the sake of looking good to the rest of the world. It wont be long before we`re all told we are lucky to live here, be grateful because the rest of the world is a shit hole mess... Er hello, keep letting this trash in and it wont be long before we`re the same as the rest of the world - fukced. Ive noticed more and more anti islam spray paint slogans round here lately. The writing is literally on the wall, but it seems anyone who can help must be walking round with their eyes closed.
  12. Looked real to me. Funny as. As a kid I once pierced a tin of hairspray in a barely smoldering bush with a billhook...... It had a very similar effect. Same could be said for a pal who tried making cannabis oil in his kitchen with tinned butane gas, when his Mrs came in the kitchen and lit the cooker to start dinner.... same effect. There's a bit of an epidemic of folk blowing themselves up making oil in the states at the moment these aren't guys blasting one tin of butane either, they're doing it on an industrial scale and when they blow they take out whole blocks of houses Yeah Ive s

  15. My advice would be watch a couple of youtube vids and get out and give it a go. If you`ve got permission your sorted. Try paying a recce visit early morning or dusk and see whats about and where they are running to. Like any fishing or hunting, if you can find them, your halfway there... And just remember, you can only kill them once. Once youve caught them all, their gone so never stop looking for permission.
  16. I was told by a wise man on here that the ears a linked to teething and will go all "satellite" till its past it. My bitches ears done the same. They are now the same be it pricked or laid back.
  17. I asked a well spoken ex-army man who was one what it was all about recently. He couldnt really give me a proper answer. He did say you get certain perks from other members ... He went on to say, "Its like a cross between a church ceremony and a military parade" (He was attending a big do the day after and had some part to play he was well chuffed with.) Then went on to say "You learn to live for a better purpose, help others blah blah blah" I rapidly lost interest and told him it sounded gay as fukc. My granddad and uncle are members.

  19. It is legal on permission... Other side of the fence and its illegal. Moral of the story, dont get caught on the wrong side of the fence.
  20. Is this the yank with a spade? I cant see the video. We do it better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3V8NHecUl4 Had to have been buried?
  21. Maybe the noise would be enough to make them think twice. As far as I know dont they have SAM`s or RPG`s yet so as long as it was higher than a rock could be thrown, it would be safe. The noise would add to its menace.
  22. Theres rumours of it being a hoax, but pretty cool none the less.
  23. Anywhere from 2 to 4ft.... Normally always in chalk and flint. Had the joy of digging shallow in sand the other day, nice., Well, till you get to a bit of rocky sandstone or compacted landscaping material. It dont matter what it says on the box. I`ll still have a crack at it if Ive got the space to go at it, cos sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised. Some of the tube junctions can be quite cavernous and a 4ft dig can sometimes turn into a 2.5ft dig, and one more in the bag is one more in the bag.
  24. Yup, mine get fish occasionally. Mackerel and small carp. Only feed in small portions (or small fish) cos it goes bad quick in this heat.
  25. All shingle shores round here, dont know if it makes a difference, but a fella I know swears by cooked chicken skin. Float fished from the pontoons and piers.
