I met the dam. I also seen a picture of the dam and sire tied. Sire looked much bigger than the dam if I`m honest though, around 25.5? Must be all the good grub.

  2. Gladly done. I`ll make sure the lads sign this eve when I see them.
  3. Gotta drink the wine and eat the raisins..
  4. Yup, we used to split into two teams, usually those closest to each other and have half hour setting traps for each other and play man hunt. Those neck height wires really hurt if you were running fast.. Or slow, come to think of it.
  5. Nice mate. Me, the Mrs and nipper took 1st in a den comp down the local woods. Won a free family cinema pass. Pretty much the same build as yours, a long A frame, with sticks then greens then loads of leaf litter.. It even stood up to the water test Best bit was when another family tried claiming ours was there already, we just added to it,. I dont think they liked the fact I showed up with rope, a saw and gloves.. Talk about competitive den building.
  6. Very similar Mr Tea pot. The same guy could have quite easily made them both Mine were not as heavy duty, just plain wire jaws, no teeth.
  7. Yeah, I remember now, a few lads gave them a go, didnt last long. Seem to remember there was a report that one of them type of poles snapped instantly after a rabbit hitting the net close to the pole. First rabbit too if I remember right.
  8. I ordered some chinese "mouse" traps off ebay a year or two back, just because they looked interesting, I never used them. I only got 2. Very inventive, but shocking to say the least. I`m sure the whole trap was made out of recycled material ( the trigger plate was made out of some sheet metal off an old oil drum, real sharp edges too.) It was sort of a round bear trap shape, made out of 4mm high ten. And its springs locked the jaws, similar to a BMI. Also only one of them out of the pair worked properly Sorry no picture, I threw them out in the last shed clear out.
  9. Why what happened to it? Just out of curiosity like..
  10. Here we go! Here we go! Here we goooo.. Its all about the here and now, everything else is irrelevant..
  11. Been through it last season and going through it again now. It was easier last time as both the new poleys (from different yards),bonded, so it was old stock fighting new. It was traumatic to the ears to say the least. I put them all in with a newly vas`d hob and he seemed to be the field leveler, None of the jills had time to fight as the were always getting gripped up by the hob, until peace finally arrived.. Now Ive got another two new ones and its no longer mating season, its proving to be a bit more difficult. The two new ones came from the same yard, spent time in the same cage before
  12. Be real interesting to see what the collars look like.
  13. Missed it but just watching it now on plus one. f***ing dirty c**ts. Why involve the old bill. End the filth there and then if your gonna put yourself out.
  14. I hope not. Rabbiting season last year was rough, nothing seemed to die back down here. Just had smoke in the garden no top on, bedding the pup down and thought exactly the same. Mild.
  15. He was probably watching the Pro.. Correct. He was sat next to me. TBH though, I thought he'd done me. Nice write up, and a shame the Angling weeklies haven't picked it up. Of coarse it was because he was sat next to you Either that or he was telling porkies on the run up to the match.. Bet you lent him a float antd some bottom I honestly didnt see him move all that much (could have been the hangover, or the concentration or the f**king multiple snags come to think of it ), did he have an automatic electric reel?
  16. Not that I feed boiled bones, but I thought (read on here recently) boiled and raw bones were fine, just not roasted?

  20. Looks good Treecreeper. Just dont go overloading it and it should be good, like anything.. Reminds me of the ones the the Pro`s had when we were kids,.. Home made jobs of coarse. Us using old ladys shopping trolley wheels, only the load bed was lower than the wheels, so all your kit would rub against the wheels the whole 4 mile walk to the canal.. Good times though..
  21. Oh James will be pleased. So much for not saying nowt Fair play to youse though, it could have gone bad, quick.
  22. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Heavy-Duty-Metal-Green-Garden-Cart-Barrow-Utility-Trolley-Garden-Home-/171403941464?pt=UK_Home_Garden_GardenEquipment_HandTools_SM&hash=item27e8789658 Looks sound for the money, but apart from taking the sides off, it doesnt get any smaller. Wouldnt get much more than the trolley in a small car.
  23. Mush, you probably wouldnt notice johnnyboy on your back
  24. Probably better dragging your trolley, than pushing it. A golf trolley would come into its own there.. All depends on your heaviest weight you expect to carry. If you looking to carry 100 weight, I think all wheels would fail in sand and shingle, unless they where swamp wheels All this talk of barrows and shorelines reminds of when I was a nipper barrowing lead from a crumbling MOD building, about a mile along the shore in a barrow with a flat tyre... Not nice. I think a golf trolley would be a good Mk1 effort. If it sunk, 1st call would be wider wheels, or even 2 golf wheels joined
