    would love onehad loads of differant dog vans and estates and quite a few in a state but got a toyota picnic 2.2 deisel 7 seater took the backseats out ans still 5 seater plus massive area for the dogs and brilliant on fuel everyone comments how theywould love one .plus bonus doesnt look like a dog waggon.

    back in the late seventies early eighties used to earn nice bit of cash. nowadays costs me a fair old whack with fuel and other costs going up all the time .my sport is nearly always 6 to 8 hour round trip driving plus food plus the fuel and other bitsso the answer is a definate no no as far as earning a bit of wonga out of the dogs. but still wouldnt give it up miss itfar to much..

    the bitch in my avatar i bred myself. as a pup i showed her 13 times and she won 13 times and 12 championships and one runner up she also worked day and night on all quarry .i retired her at 2yr old because of foot injuries in this time she also got through to a 16 dog coursing final on the big land. this was the last lurcher i i showed of my own it was nine year ago now.so to say show dogs dont work is rubbish some people do both and do it well.but even if they just show that is entirely up to them its their dog and they feed it but ime with chartpolksi on the point theres working them and

    shamo i would think anyone who is remotely interested would allready know the price of entry to these gamefairs . and ime with you thinking their way to pricey but personally cannot see the point in moaning about it as its not going to make any differance as there was massive crowds both days again this year . but tbh lurcher s sat and terriers sun carparc for both was nowhere near as busy as last year .

    easy answer is if your that worried about entrance fee dont go as i did at the cla £29 to get in and no lurchers or terriers but the midlands you do get to meet old dog mates an good craic so as i said its up to individuals but dont see the point in all the moaning .but do agree its to expensive at £17.

    i thought the judges names was supposed o be hush hush at the midlands i judged the champion lurchers and was told not to let anyone know but still a few people new . trouble is the moaners and whiners are always going to do it. its as if they cannot enjoy the day for what it is a good day out with like minded folk .feck me if it bothers people that much why not stay at home save your money but i bet certain ones would still moan about it .whether they go or not .we are not known in australia as rthe whining poms for nothing .

    i was one of the 2 lurcher judges at the midlands for the champion lurchers and ive been in to lurchers all my life but would love some smart arse to tell me how to know a lurcher works or not just by judging it in a ring and take it from me no one as ever told me their lurcher doesnt work in all the time ive had lurchers. and tbh it wouldnt make any differance in my decision anyway because all it is at the end of the day is a show ring for the judge to pick which he thinks is the best looking and conditioned dog on the day .and for anyone remotely interested ive never seen the winning dog or

    was told yesterday that the owner does an awful lot of work with lurcher rescue taking in abandoned and lost lurchers and rehoming them after getting them right first .

    the dog that was injured belongs to a mate of mine it was stiched sedated and sorted within a few minutes of it happening the owner is a working dog man and i run with him twice a week in the winter. his kennel setup is something else and has to be seen to be believed.. and beleive me he is no showman but a real working dog lad. not that theres anything wrong with people who like showing and racing their dogs .if i had a choice of someone owning one of my dogs who showed and raced and looked after their dogs or someone who ran the nuts of it and didnt look after it there would be no questio

    known ginger a very long time real old school but a real character theres a lot worse than ginger out there in the big bad world and he does love his dogs . mind you lol i would say he likes making a pound more lol. pity they didnt lock the dealers ruining kids lives up more often .one thing about ginger he will bounce back the man is larger than life .always reminds me of a country aurther daly .

    i find you can still get a bargain at the gamefairs if you haggle and leave it late in the day got a few bargains at the welsh and few years ago had a cracking bargain for 4 pairs of wellingtons gotta be prepared to shop around and haggle i find flash the cash and it makes a differance .

    sold cars to quite a few and always try and chip you after the deal has been done even after they have left deposit they want another discount when they pick it up .real hard work but as others have said try getting discount of them lol.

    gotta say in all the years out with dogs most of it without permission only ever seen one do it. first and last time ever went with him cut new fencing in loads of places because basically the twat was to lazy to walk around to the gates .and he was the youngest with us. this was about 10 year ago needless to say never went anywhere near him or the place again which was a shame because it was full of game .

    on the right night early season on dull hares it could be done but to take that many they must have been easy hares and i aint believing anything else . but why would anyone want to kill that many hares on the lamp seems a waste but hey its his dogs so who are we to say right or wrong. not for me though .
