    i think if someone rears a litter correctly and with no expence spared with the pups welfare coming before the cost of rearing then they are entitled to ask whatever price they see fit .but it doesnt gaurantee to give the pup a good home theres plenty of tossers out there with money to burn .

    anyone writing at the moment about current hunting is writing with their hands tied because of this stupid ban what i will say is skycat penny can walk the walk with her dogs and they are or were when i was hunting with her very good animals and very well trained.and could certainly do the job they were bred for whether with the long legs or short legged dogs .mind you like a lot of hunters she can blow her top lol when things are not going right sorry penny couldnt resist that last bit .

    this mans dogs are very well bred and kept with no shortcuts they have the best of everything and his kennels are top class plus his running dogs do what it says on the tin. never bought one of him but would have no hesitation doing so or recomending anyone to purchase one of his pups .and believe me he doesnt do it for the money .

    theres many aspects of lurchers i love cant put a favourite one of them is getting a dog fit and in condition and watching as daily it all comes together. and i really love watching a running dog of any breed run whether its in play or at work something magical about them when their flat out . but i suppose at this time in my life my biggest buzz is watching them behind a good strong winter longears giving it some stick if i am honest . especially if its a pup i have bred or reared from a baby .

    think hard to make your choice of lurcher because its going to hopefully be with you for a long time if its just or mainly rabbits you cant go wrong with a greyhound whippet fast agile easy to keep and easty to enter for a first time owner ,

    i find early mornings the best time of the day . come winter we are on the ground at first light after travelling up to 4 hours it must be from when a kid with 2 paper rounds i always find early morning the best time of the day no one else about .

    45 rabbits 5 hares but we were taking similar numbers most nights at the time and were out every possible moment at that time which was back in the early eighties .tbh havnt had big numbers for a very long time and doesnt seem important anymore like it did back then when everyone was a pound in your pocket at a very needy time and for every missed rabbit we would be moaning like it was the end of the world.lol.still moaning but about differant things .

    chris and his family are one of the nicest you will ever meet all very good freinds of mine this is so sad a thing to happen to anyone but especially to so close a family as they are r.i.p. melissa gone but never forgotton thinking of you chris will see you soon john and family .

    well folks gotta admit this time i was wrong about police .i have my caravan and all contents back . my daughter stayed up all sunday night scouring internet sites and found it for sale on e bay with all my things inside for sale with it . we contacted police first thing i n morning and they spent all weekend on case and got warrant first thing this morning and recovered caravan and arrested at least one person .the copper that sorted it out was only young but kept me imformed all weekend and today right up to phoning me to go and pick it up real top bloke big thank you to him and even bigger
