    grew up from a baby with a whippet or whippet cross in the house all used for rabbiting and ratting and never been without a running dog since and normally at least three sometimes more worked bred raced showed and judged them over the last never mind how long. lets just say a very very long time lol.

    went to get one of my youngsters a run the other day travelled a fair distance before finding a suitable run . got her out of the car looked down at the ground and thought to myself no way and put her back in the car.not worth the risk after waiting this long and the season just round the corner.mind you when i was younger and more impatient it would have been get on bitch and to hell with the concequenses

    nine years ago i bred a litter of these by putting my threequarter greyhound quarter ptb in pup to a pure greyhound was wondering has anyone on here had a cross like this the whole litter were easy to enter to all quarry and as you would imagine very fast. but were injury prone as they were crazy with massive prey drive.incidently the one i kept would take hare daytime on a regular basis but she was always very fit .

    this is more for the oldies rather than the youngsters and is going to be quite hard for a number of us . if you could have one dog that you have owned back now in the prime of its life which one would it be .to make it more interesting no toss up between old whatever you must pick just one dog neednt be the best you have owned but probally will be come on folks get them up ..

    tbh in the few litters i have bred havnt really had any messers visit and not buy a pup . had a few over the phone though. the last litter i bred 17 months ago 2 chaps came to buy a pup and went away with 2 one each they said mine was the third litter they had been to see and the only litter that was socialised and well handled also said the pups were stronger than other litters same age. now did the owners of the other litters label these messers when if fact they were far from it just fussy what they bought . .
