Strayshot yes your absolutely right you cant tell from just one photo but when the creator of the breed says that they didnt use any working lines in the making of this breed & they were created for the showring & just to endorse this point called them "Silken Windhounds"!! As in all things its a numbers game so yes it is plausable that eventually you'll get one that can out course an Afghan. First dog i ever saw catch a daytime hare was a Dalmation x grew 40odd years ago she also caught loads of rabbits. Never seen or heard of one since!!

I go out with a pest controller quite alot & strangely enough im in building game. I regulary lift floorboard , cut access panel etc for him to carry out his work through the summer months whether it be to gain access to Rats Foxes Squirrells etc we also do rabbit control in Summer if needs be. One of the places we do is a Stately Home who's Gardens play a major role in their yearly revenue with visitors coming from all over the country. I can only imagine the look on their faces if we told them sorry we cant control the rabbits as there may be young under ground!!! No one likes/enjoys doi

They mark it so dont carry anything with address or details on them. A house in our village had the two traveller women mouching around sussing out what nickable then left a flahing yellow light in field edge opposite house light was visible from bypass. Luckily they were observed doing all this by a nieghbours daughter. So light was removed. Police were given the option to leave light in field & wait in house but chose not to take up option. The owners of the house saw a blue transit going up & down the road & lane several times that nite as if looking for some thing. The light w

Sympathy post (dogs stolen) then great joy post ( dogs returned) then lets get loads of Genuine Hunting Lads /Lasses Names on Petition??!!! I may be wrong but i smell a couple of ANTI RATS. A keepers wife who thinks a catty is a ferret WTF!! Put up your location of shop where dogs supposedly stolen from & let a couple of local forum members authenticate your "storey" then lets see where we go from there. Was told by three independent vets years ago at coursing meetings get them jabbed as pups & booster a year later then dont bother from then on. One said thats vets call yearly jabs their holiday fund!!

Years ago had a lurcher "Rhia" best ive ever owned. No matter how much i tried to train her to retrieve wasnt interested tried balls toys dummies rabbit skin on dummies etc would just look at it not interested yet first rabbit she caught retrieved it straight back to hand & did so for rest of her life & would retrieve shot stuff aswell but only if it still had a pulse if it was dead she would drop it bout a foot infront of you!!
