    Baw - that wasn't my point. I'm not claiming to be some hero, dog thief hunting, vigalante. But if I did see one of the stolen dogs off here walking down the street I'd at least try to help the lad who had it stolen. Just seems like the decent thing to do. Rather than think f**k em, don't know them personally so not my problem.

    Who would you rather spotted your stolen dog. Andy? Or someone who would do f**k all and say f**k all as its not their dog or problem? Because it sounds like a lot on here including you baw would take the latter option.

    If we have another wet summer or mbad winter..... They're f****d! A combination of disease, weather and hunting them hard when their down ......will push them over the edge!

    Does anyone keep a line of small hobs? Not micros, just not big. Must be well worked, and well seasoned etc. I've got a jill I need to breed this summer coming, to keep the line going, and need an out cross.

    Yer I know what you mean Vin. I've got one old albino jill here that fits the type, bred her to one of my 'stubbier' ferrets once and she never produced anything like her. Only ones I've seen that seem to consistently fit the bill, are owned by Magwitch. I've asked in the past for a kit, on here, and no luck.

    I lived in Scotland for five years I just never went to Glasgow much, at least not in the daytime. Rake - that sounds great mate!

    I'm going to be in Glasgow for a couple of days next month, no dogs. I'm not really a city person, although i've lived in a few. Any tips of how to spend the time? It's a wednesday night to friday afternoon if that helps. Cheers, Jai.

    We regularly take the dogs long distances. As long as its given water when needed and the odd piss break it'll be fine. Te biggest thing is its with you. IMO it would be more stressed in kennels.

    You might be disappointed if you think there is more to hunt in Wales than in Surrey . . . But good luck buddy!

    Used all manner of bags over the years and come to the conclusion that the best is a back pack, like a small hiking back pack. Them shoulder bags are ok, but to be honest they are annoying to walk with, especially over rough ground, and a bit cumbersome. Also I find the back packs have handy side pockets for locators, etc. And you can even strap your spade to it. I wouldn't go back!

    It's all true.... And no f****r is debating that. As self congratulationary as you are being .... No one is arguing with you! No one is saying that folk breeding too much and giving up on dogs too easy is right or that it doesn't play into the dog dealers arms..... So no it's got fuk all to do with being Scottish. The point was a lot of peddlers are not just harmless peddlers who take on dogs from folk giving them away. I'd say most if not all don't give a shit where the dog comes from.... If its cheap they will have it and make some coin. Hence they are a natural outlet for stolen dog

    I agree there are lots of folk to blame in the whole scenario but to think that a fella who constantly deals dogs, doesn't care where they come from and sells 20 odd a month ........ Is going to have an issue selling stolen dogs. Is just nieve! As for members keeping dogs they know as stolen because they have had it six months and bonded with it..... Or even worse, fining out the dog is stolen and then trying to make profit selling it back to its original owner........ What needs to be said? It's no wonder folk don't get their dogs back most if the time, it seems most folk couldn't
