  1. This place makes me laugh. Peddlers are fine and everyone knows who the dog theirs are in their local area but do f**k all.
  2. At 4 quid. . . . it'd be worth me travelling. How many would they take?
  3. £3. . . . f***ing hell. I should be rich
  4. I'm like that around where I live, I've got a good chunk of land, and it's beautiful to hunt. But disease has thinned the population down to a few scattered bunnys here and there. I don't really ferret them, and I never shoot them. I let the dogs hunt them, and some get caught, in the natural order of things. And strangely enough, those are the ones I eat. And the ones I enjoy catching the most. When I want numbers, and graft for the ferrets and dogs, I have to travel, and then it tends to be about pest control, as that's why I've been allowed on the land, and I suppose I look at those rab
  5. Haha . . . aye I'm just giving him a hand and testing the water so to speak. His company make lubricants and stuff for things like the aerospace industry and F1 cars. . . so he knows the crack with what he's making. Just trying to adapt it to the 'hobby' market, and I was trying to stretch my mind as to the various possibilities, after seeing what he's made so far. . . Can you think of anything that could be improved on, in any of those kind of products, or anything that as a shooter you would want. To be fair, I don't look after my guns any where near as well as some of you guys. . .
  6. Thanks mate. He's also making gun oil, lube, protector, cleaner etc . . . .
  7. Yer, i'll get some samples and send them to a few folk on here. I've used that napier stuff a few times. . . . didn't really get the point?
  8. Cheers for that mate. A friends company has developed a product which he thinks rivals Gink. . . . SO I was just seeing how much of a market is out there . . . .
  9. Cheers for that mate, but I know it, and I've read that article before
  10. I agree But a friends company has just developed a new kind of pellet lube, which he is about to start marketing. I don't really understand the technical bits, but I think it's fluorocarbon based or something like that. He runs a lubricants company.
  11. To be honest, the reason I'm asking is that a friends company has developed a bacterial spray, which specifically targets weils disease etc. It's both a post work cleaning spray, but also a pre work coating for your hands if that makes sense. . . .
  12. Will ANY anti bac spray kill it? Gloves are definatly a must! This isn't a personal question. . . . . . more a market research question.
  13. Odd question (again!) but who uses floatant (to make the dry fly float) when fishing? And if so, what type (brand) do you use? Also, does anyone use any kind of spray to lubricate / protect the reel? Cheers all, Jai.
  14. I assume most folk use some form of the above products on their guns. It might sound like an odd question, but can anyone tell me what they use, why that brand, and the cost of it? Cheers lads. Jai.
  15. Odd question, but does anyone use it?
  16. Odd question maybe, but does anyone use / carry a weils disease / lepto spray? The kind that kills it off (for your hands etc) ?
  17. One of the big ingredients is time mate. I was looking for a pup last year, I put the feelers out among folk I know and on here.... And waited. I had some great offers, followed them up and some weren't for me, some were but it didn't work out with pup numbers etc. eventually it came together and I got what I wanted. I think it does help if you're already in the game, and know folk in it and have a decent rep.
  18. Fox buster .... I'd argue with a lot of what you've said. Beddy x greys were a very popular x for foxing in the past. And I think a bit of bull adds a lot to a rabbiting dog. I've seen a couple of Beddy/bull/grey mixes, both shaping up to good all round dogs. But one has thrown heavier and one racier.
  19. My favourite recent one was someone offering two bull x pups for one of his sal x pups. . . . . . Because obviously, what a man who has just bred a litter needs. . . . is more pups
  20. I meant was the bull x swap a real offer? Surely not?
  21. 'Banter' The magic word that folk try to use to explain why they have said something dumb or offensive
  22. Neither and both Bosun I think, as you say, they probably evolved in various places at various times and were bred and run by everyone from lords to herdsmen, to gypsys and everything inbetween . . . .
  23. Is that a real offer. . . . if so. . . . . WHAT THE f**k??? p.s to the o.p - never been used? how come you are selling? Cheers.
