It's an open forum mate, folk can reply with what they like. I agree it was not on topic, but you never know, the lad may have thought that hancocks dogs were worked, and so this info might affect his decision. Either way it's a fair comment. But like you said, if you don't have the time, or resources to find a working bred collie x grey and you just want a rabbiting dog, then it should be ok.

You can scream at him till your blue in the face and if he feels threatened by them it aint gonna make a bit of difference. Hopefully with time he will come round. Might just always be funny with new males until he gets used to them though. Bit of advice with a whippet, don't knock it about too much, they are funny wee things.

Alright, i have a huge number of 'pet hates', the list is getting stupidly long, but there is one that is right up there at the top. . . . . it really does my f*****g head in and makes me want to stab folk in the eyes. . . . Just for the record, i KNOW he breeds / has bred some very good dogs, the quality of the dogs isn't my issue, it's just that the man keeps dogs soley to breed, most of them never feel grass under their feet and are just used to pump out as many pups as possible.

Would you rather go to him for a pup or get a pup out of two of his dogs (or any collie x's) that had been well tested? I'm a bit slow mate not retarded .........of course I'd get a pup of tested parents,anybody in there right mind would but not everybody as that luxury. One advantage with Hancock is you know 100% what your getting not all breeders are as truthful. Do your research and reap your rewards mate . . . .

This is getting a bit lame now, i like ripping the piss out of folk, but some people are blatantly enjoying being cruel. Aye, the lad told a wee porky pie about shagging some bird, but this is a hunting site and it doesnt really affect that kind of stuff. In my eyes it's a far lesser crime than lying about what your dogs have done, grassing one someone, being a dog thief etc etc. What he did was just dumb. And as stan said it's getting a bit like bullying. I like the lad, he has a sense of humor and he should come back.
