They were a year and a half old when I got them. I had been looking for ones of their type and quality with good temperaments for almost 3 years, so was delighted that he allowed me to have them as I had wanted them ever since I saw pics of them at 6 months old. I'm growing out the two best hobs, the jill in the litter is going on a breeding agreement to a friend who has two others from me, and the remaining kits are priced the same as I regularly sell my kits for. When you say 'best', 'type', 'quality' etc, do you mean the way they look? So how 'regularly' do you sell kits

Yep, the plan is to snip one of the hobs this year, but right now that's not an option. I meant to do it this year but got caught short time wise. I'm no fan of the jab either, and/but as she is my best jill i want to make sure i do whats best for her.

\ I got a pair from him last fall. They're very dark, excellent quality with outstanding temperaments, and their kits are still very black at almost 10 weeks old. So far the kits are very people oriented and easy to handle by everyone. So you bred them in their first season then . . . . . . money money money. . . . If your not interested in buying one, why let it bother you so much? We like and want them so will pay the money we think they are worth to us. So you think it's ok to go out and buy a 'breeding pair' of e.u poleys and breed them 1st year, and punt on th

Just to throw this out there, apparently there are actually more 'social heroin users' in this country than 'smack head junkies'. i.e folk who have jobs, families and normal lives who take a few hits here and there. . . . .

Aye mate, i guess i'm with you there, but the thing is for a lot of folk there was profit in her image . . . . . and money and agents are really very little solice or help. . . . . Thing is we don't know which one killed her. . . . She was looking healthier recently, might have come off the smack, then tried a wee hit yesterday and bang. . . . .too strong. . . . .

I no hes a peddlar how many litters he breeds a year and how many he keeps? I havnt slated his dogs ive just said hes a puppy peddlar! I no him from 30 years ago so i no a little about him.. And i couldnt agree with you more hes a good bloke! For me a 'peddler' is someone who breeds fairly indescriminanty just to line his pocket, and often talks shit to make sales. They also sell as much as they can. I find mike a little different, aye he breeds and sells the pups, but what he is creating are very good dogs, he could breed and sell a lot more. Also every breeding is put t

Look mate she had every help possible......she chose not to stop!! Dont give me all this "she couldn't stop nonsense" because thousands of people do it every year....they get of drugs because they try to do so without thousands of pounds of help either. I'm not arguing that really mate. . . But when you are in the middle of an addiction, especially in a world surrounded by those 'yes men', where you are just a part of some kind of grotesque celebrity pantomime, i think many would have a problem seeing the 'wood for the trees'. Seen all sides of it mate, and it's a f*****g ho

Shooting hares in summer for the sport . . . . . . .

They are training from the moment you first pick them up. Handle them well, get to know them, get them used to the dogs, nets, your feet, being picked up from the mouth of tubes, get them running through tubes, even stick the collars on them. But while most ferrets will work to some extent, the best workers are born to it. . . .

Some of you folk really do know f**k all about drugs. . . .
-
Just seen em in the CMW - 70 quid, and 40 for a half x. What a joke.
-
That was what i was wondering, if the hormone injection would cause problems on the back of all the hormones that she has had rushing through her system having the litter.

We find a combination of a whippet and a 3/8 5/8 collie grey, pretty lethal.

Thats a joke waiting to happen.

Cheers guys! Keep em coming.

I don't think anyone claimed they were bred as lamp dogs specifically. . . Kevo and joball are talking shit on something they know next to nothing about. alex1987 is about right, but the size/weight thing is just a preference . Like has been said, there are other lines out there, but if you want a good solid whippet that will 100% work, then you could do worse than to speak to Mike. I have one here and if i (or i think my friends) wanted another, they would be straight up there knocking on his door. He's also a really really nice bloke.

This is going to sound like another of my rants, but it's just something i don't get. People are ALWAYS on here, especially in the lurcher section, looking for the 'best' lurcher for something. What's the best dog for lamping? Whats the best x for foxing? Whats the best x for me? Whats the best terrier for digging fox? Whats the best dog for ferreting? and the list goes on and on. Do these folk really think there is a single 'best' breed, or cross, for doing any particular discipline, and that if you get that breed or x, it should know its job out of the box. I know

Bored as feck, . . . so does anyone have any suggestions of any T.V series or anything else that's worth a watch on Iplayer, 4ondemand etc etc etc
-
Right, so i bred my best jill and had a cracking liter of 5 healthy kits. They are just over 9 weeks now, the one going has gone and the other 4 are still here. I took the jill out from them and put her back in the main court with the other jills. Within the week she has come right back into season, swollen right up now. None of the other jills are even close (jabbed earlier in summer). Now the things is should i get her jabbed now (post litter) or leave her. I'm planning on taking her down on monday night to get her jabbed, but just wondered if there would be any kind of problem seeing as she

When you are addicted like that it's not really a 'choice'. It's a self inflicted tragedy and a waste of a decent set of lungs.

What bird said.

Aye cracking pics of the kids with kits mate.

f**k me johnny. . . . . that's uncanny mate. I might be in charge, but they still all b*****ds.
