  1. Snap! One tip - soaking in iced salty water gets rid of brusing But i never understand folks issue with smashed ribs, i mean, who eats rabbit ribs, i just scoff the saddle, back end, legs and chuck the ribs to the animals.
  2. Haha, no prizes for guessing which one of those bunnys the crocodile had. Soft mouthed she is not, unless there are no other dogs about. She is a competetive bitch, and that bunny is HERS. Mind you, would it have stayed in the net without her? But well done matey, that's good going for one man, no dog Hopefully we will be up this weekend again, if all goes to plan for round two, 19 to beat P.S Give nutjob a cwtch from me
  3. Interesting this. I don't totally buy into it, but stranger things have been done, so crack on and show us what she can do.
  4. Wonder what he would think of one of those goats?
  5. Not sure mate, was out the other day, and first thing i saw was the ferrets tail jerking in the hole, then her arse, and her back, and she was moving backwards in a jerking motion, tugging the rabbit by it's arse. My guess is that what she was doing was trying to drag it into space where she could get over to its neck, and the exit was the closest place. I guess if she was deeper she would just drag it to a wider tunnel bit or a chamber. She is like a little terrier.
  6. Glad you getting a bit of piece mate Sounds good about him sleeping at random spots as well, as any one who watches, wont quite know for certain where he will be when they try it on. Seriously though, have you thought of giving him a spin on the lamp to get his fitness up?
  7. I dont normally mate..it was just one of them days to be honest with you..we spoke to a guy in a pick up truck on the lane..he pointed at a hegde and said theres loads there dont worry they,ll be happy for you to shift em etc etc.. but he wasnt farmer obviously..lol. when we got wave from bloke on tractor we thought we were ok..sometimes you have to get out and about and find new spots, we cant all get paid to shift em in the land of abundance 24/7 365... we started the day on permission but like mad crazy fools we strayed from the path of goodness...LOL I will say one thing thou
  8. Cheers lads, and aye, vinny boy, i must admit, it was nice not getting scratched to shit I was looking at the crab stick i had as a kid and thought that might just do the trick Cheers for the comment on the write ups as well, it's been an enjoyable season, as this year i have gone out to meet new folk, explore new land and have fun, rather than focusing on catching a lot of game. Just did a count up though, and realised that the current tally is actually very respectable And quite varied
  9. You just got to take the rough with the smooth mate, at least you went home with all dogs and ferrets etc.

ANd probably do a better search than a post in thl general section.
  11. I have five intact males all in together. Oh boy does it get messy . . . .
  12. Looks a nice one matey, and looks fairly young. I'm also a sucker for a sandy like that The cage looks good, and i think it would be ideal to build a run under neath, and that way they will get plenty of exercise, and you will be able to put some tubes etc in for them 2 questions - what gear is sven after? - When you coming a visiting?
  13. Sounds mad, but johnnyboys misses, has trained her pet ferret to retrieve. . . . But i don't think it would work in the hunting field. I have a jill, who if she is near the exit, will drag them out, but usually they get stuck and she just kills them. Best you can hope for really with kits, is a ferret that smashes them quick and drops them to move after the adults, in these cases a ferret that stays with its kill is a pain in the arse, as you will forever be digging to kits, however at the same time, a ferret that kills and moves on can be a pain if it kills quick, as you never kno
  14. Usually at the end of the day, belly slit and guts flicked out. However if its really warm, then i will open them up and empty them as soon as possible, so they dont swell up and go bad in the heat. I also completely agree with jayjay, as obsessed as my dog is with hunting (and hes a fecking b*****d for it), he cant resist taking a bite out of the nice warm flesh hanging over your shoulder ad he passes by.
  15. Like has been said, drink some beer and bang some students, whilst making the obligatory 'bangor' 'bang her' 'bang whore' jokes. Then leave.
  16. Looks very tidy mate, and it will be good to be able to breathe a bit easier. Have you tried him on the lamp yet? I hear them pikeys don't run that quick with the dazzler on them.
  17. Well done matey! Love hunting them tree rats
  18. Cheers lads Tomo - that's exactly what i was wishing i had (wire) on saturday, but there was none to be found. Next time i will be prepared though The dogs LOVED them walls, something different for them
  19. Not a problem And they don't taste that good
  20. How close is not too far, i know of a good few places, but they are probably around 45-1hr away. Cwm hedd is quite good for strting youngsters, as it has a smaller beginners pond, where you dont have to cast far, and stnd a good chance of catching a few, but its not a piss take, and feels like real fishing, especially if you are young. And yes jayjay is right, you can fish the beacons resevoirs. There are a good number of small and medium fisheries in south wales
  21. Just thought i'd mix it up a bit. Can you tell i work in a high school. . . lol..
