    How come the aussies seem obsessed with taking very unlikely breeds, that have been show shit for years . . . and then trying to work them? Great danes, yorkies etc etc. . . .

    i bought my first sari by mistake in a bin bag full of stuff i bought for dog bedding -- looked nice i put it out and sold it for a tenna been buying them ever since ...i sell a few to a photographer who uses them for props -- STuff like that is very 'in' with certain folk, especially the nice patterns and materials. My missus likes to get hold of them to just use the material for making other stuff. You want to get yourself a friend in india, to send some over, they cost pennies there.

    They held up a rabbit mate . . . . and he was the only one who knew what it was. . . . so a win by default! Never entered a show before, the dog was mildly disgusted, but we got 1st in the pure bred section and 2nd in the rabbiting dog section (think we were on for first but we had it in the previous class). To be honest i was a bit chuffed I did try to get the misses to take him in etc, but he was having none of it and was trying to get back to me.
