  1. not being funny mate but my dog is 15 inch tts and he can squeze through a 4 inch gap
  2. as said i would move him in to his own hutch now he maybe anoying them already, my hob came into season a few weeks ago hes not to happy living the batchelor life but hayho

  4. some set up there i also let my ferrets out in the shed for a sniff and run about thing is they expect it every day

  7. some good answers on this thread from i presume the old timers ferrets do it best when fed when i was out on sunday i noticed by about 2 in the afternoon the ferrets were geting hungry and to be honest this was hampering there working abillity and as said more chance of killing below or if a rabbitt turns back around and goes back to the waiting ferret . but this is why i prefer to use jills as the rabbitt i believe has more chance of sliping past a jill and bolting into the net, where as if it meets a big old hob less chance of squezing past more chance of a kill just my opinion
  8. good set up be carefull of that chicken wire up the top ive seen ferrets munch through that stuff you might need a bit more shelter out of the wind ferrets dont like a strong wind ,
  9. the reason they have good day and you have a bad one is because, on those days all the bunnys are below ground ,
  10. well, earlly start got to marshies permision bout 9 the first burry was a mere 10 feet from the van , looked a good un tried my little poley jill got her out new she would do the do,looked like someone had ferreted before as stuff had been cut back 30 holer or so she bolted two, no shame there then but one sliped the net, didnt it marshie she had cleared it out then she showed me up dancing around and running back down the holes little bitch, next one nowt at home 2 nil to me marshie,on to the next put my white jill in bolted one result she came out picked her straight up steady as you like,
  11. explain that its countryside management they wont have a clue about that , explain that hundreds of years ago these rabbits were released by folks as a food source and were managed by these folks and these folks aint no longer here as it was hundreds of years ago, and that these fluffy little fekers cause seriouse damage to this green and pleasent land these arm chair warriors claim to care about so much and then tell them to kindly fek off back home as its nearlly time for countryfile .
  12. the polecat coloured ferrets tend to darken in the summer & lighten in winter . perfctly normal

  14. yes soon as i saw her on the internet that was it had to get her, drove a fare way as well, she doesnt half shift a real live wire rarely in the nest box allways out looking for me or something to do ,

  20. they were released into town centres all over the uk to keep pigeons down, theyve dun really well bread every year on the really tall buildings, then the young will be forced out before the next lot but they can travell a fair way for food ,
