  2. hes getting excited he will acsept jills whatever time of year wouldnt you, this is what they do prior to mating ferret cortship. becarefull or you could end up with tons of ferrets
  3. the hob was doing this as thats what they do when they are coming into season if your breeding or even not your guna need another hutch or two not trying to be big headed but you need to do some reserch

  6. usually no probs so long as you dont have two or more entire hobs where theres jills around

  8. sounds good no good sticking bolts in mature trees people might not be so keen on that leaves an entrance for infection and decay
  9. ANYONE any ideas or info as to why these types become more yellow and the mask fades i have a hob the same, dont say ginetics cheers guys

  11. as said try toget another one, my jill was nippy when i got her in the autumn when i got two more a couple a weeks ago she lost interest in my hand can even pick her up off the floor now without her thinking shes in charge
  12. becareful the mesh isnt too big a small jill can sqeeze through a small gap

  14. went out for a mooch with the dog today as i had no work, sticking to footpaths mainly found a place seems every field is full of gold, couple of warrens over 30 plus holes the farmer grows crops so he should be glad to get rid of a few shouldnt he? didnt go up to the house as was only walking the dog and hadnt had any breakfast best not to ask on an empty tank, anyhow its been many years since i have asked for permision any advice greatlly apreciated, i remember as a lad dreading knocking a dor as you got more no than yeses many thanks j

  18. my hobs becoming more frisky this week hes even tryed draging one of the ills going to seperate them tomorrow 2 jills in wiyh the hob, have to build a new nest box for the lower area and shut the hatch anyone else got the same thing hapening already, cheers j

  23. well im ashamed to say wild goose chase,first day out gutted went to the farmers house to ask for permision he wasnt in, spent the rest of the day driving round loking for somewhere else no joy, stoped for a brew spiled red hot tea all down my leg not happy, just going to have to have a drive around in the week to try and sort it gutted
