  2. well up 2 you but if the people who actually make it rekon its harmful and not to bye it there must be some truth , i went into my vets in the winter when myne had ticks and he just gave it to me there an then seeings how they are working ferrets deidnt think there was much point trapesing them all the way there for a bottle of spray frontline. 15 pound well spent still got enuf for next season as well

  4. i went into my pet shop the other day and they rang the company to ask if it was ok for pregnant or lactating ferrets and the company that makes it said no, it doesnt say on the outside of the box but aparently it does on the leaflet inside so i wouldnt use it i think frontline spray is ok tho

  7. Nows the time for bonding all summer , I put them on the floor let them get used to me walking over them and stuff picking them up putting the down let them realise they don't need to worry and generally just making a fuss of them especialy young ones ,makes life alot easier come next season ,trust. Works both ways I can put my finger in any of my ferrets mouths ,trust
  8. yes the vet said just squirt the amount of sprays on the ferts back then using the gloves rub in all over. thats what i did before and it worked fine. i dont see the differnce between spraying onto the ferret or onto the glove, either way the ferret gets rubbed with the liquid. i wasn't suggesting a good soaking or a dip The diference is the area you spray directly onto prior to rubbing it in with the glove will have to much frontline and as it's such strong stuff will cause iritAtion or worse burn the poor ferrets skin it's strong stuff trust me .I picked up an unwanted jill about a week

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS once the swelling starts wait at leest 9 days then put her in they will make lots of noise then he will drag her to the nest box preferably , yhen leave them to it after a few days 3 i like he should be paying not much atention to her and the swelling should of started to go down but best you leave um to it nice n quiet
  15. I was speaking to a freind about my loss ,he said I might be a bit cheeky but someones dumped two jills on me and I think they are both in kit , and I don't have the room so I went round for a look as I had the room after loosing my jill,So itook the one which was furthest gone she could drop this weekend, then once the kits are rehomed he would like her back plus one kit which will run in his ferret court with his jills and castrated hobs he also has a snipped hob as well ,and if I like any I will keep one ,I tell you it's some set up he has I will get some pics this week to pit up wait till y

  18. People have been doing that for years anyway, only have to see the numerous threads on here that have been made about 'breeding silver to silver' and 'What do I breed to get silver?', 'anyone breeding silvers' etc. This forum can be just as bad as the pet forums at times, I am ashamed to say. so if a rerret comes from a litter of silvers but is not a silver is it still a silver as regards to breeding ??????????
