I was out today dug a rabbit it's neck snaped like a twig then u remembers I'd dropped one two or three weeks earlier there's no shame matey we all make the oddmistake , you could chop with your hand at the back of the head and neck a couple of times that works to , oh and when you put it on the ground keep hold of the back legs just incase, save it running off , good post

Dont disagree with you used to go out every weekend as a lad without locator and had many a long wait but stoped fereting at 16 when I first got served in the pub, only got back into it last season ferreted last season without but got my mk3 last summer and wouldn't go without most places are pest control so there not going to be to pleased if Im lying on the grass smoking role ups and swiging tea , plus have learned a he'll of a lit since having it , but also how many of these kids who can't aford one have a ps3 computer iPhone bmx iPod and stupidly priced trainers , if you saved £25 a week

A beter question for those without , how many think they've left dead rabbits in a set or injured ones , and how many have had to go back the next day looking for ferrets ,?????

Sounds like that place has been hamerd by something or someone , we have a permision went start of the season tore round in half a day one rabbit going to leave it for a year or two more now , unless the land owner insists on it

It's a diferent game ferreting with longnets been out twice and love it will be purchasing two 50 yrd quickset this summer plus then don't need to worry about the cover start of season

I'm sure the dog isn't run on quarry wearing a harness. The poster allready said it was for when exercising along side a bike. Cheers. I used to be told by some one that harness made dogs broad chested cow hocked,He was a old en but he knew his stuff.When ever i see a pet dog wearing one i always look,and often they are. A good tip if you make the roof the bit that lifts up and it's heavy there's very little chance of escape I prefer this myself saves worrying about little doors not being shut

Had a think about it myself a few times , when I was a kid we had a box made out of that tough corigated plastic the stuff made like cardboard , we built a few of our own as kids ded proud of em we were but they rarely made it back from outings drop the once and they smashed come to think of it if we'd of caught as many rabbits as we smoked rolleys would of been mega bags lol
