    I'll be looking for a pup this time next year but certainly have no intention of paying silly, silly money for one. I'll be putting the word about the local boys in plenty of time to see who's planning on breeding in the hope of paying a realistic price. I've got a nice keen three quarter whippet quarter beddy dog here so if i can find someone who wants to use him over a suitable bitch that may be the way to go.     Dug out a couple of pics of a couple of my old dogs - litter brother and sister with a fair chunk of beddy in them. Not particularly good quality pics as they were taken with a crappy old mobile. ?

    Jake is long gone unfortunately but was about 22.5". Ed is very much alive and kicking and is a really busy, robust little dog standing about 21.5" l do love a beddy cross fair play.

    Yeah the 8 played against my boys team (Blaenavon), he's certainly a very strong ball carrier but will probably need to work on his fitness if he wants to go further . My boy's 19 as well - his best position is 7 but he played 6 against you - look forward to having a chat at the return fixture .

    Fair play to you for sticking with him butt, some would have moved him on by now without giving him the opportunity to develop at his own pace. It boils my piss when people expect their dog to be be the finished article by 15 months or so. I wouldn't mind betting that he turns out to be one of your best ever...

    I've had excellent results using honey on wire rips, smear it on the wound 2 or 3 times a day, leave it on for 20 mins or so then let the dog lick it off. I'm in the middle of healing a wound that's larger than that and it's coming on a treat

    No f*****g chance.. You'll be in love with the game yourself after going to a Wales/Scotland match and the all day drinking that goes with it! Imagine the best part of 100,000 or more Wales and Scotland fans drinking together, singing each others songs and having the craic in the pubs, streets and stadiums all day and late into the night.. It's not just the ticket holding fans who join in, thousands of fans travel up and down just to enjoy the atmosphere. is it like that when they play england..........     Here's two of my best, both unfortunately are no longer with us . They were bred worker to worker for 20 odd years or so and were a mixture of Whippet, Grey, Collie and Beddy with a touch of Lab from way back. They were litter brother and sister with the dog broken coated and a touch under 23" and the bitch smooth coated and a touch over 18". The bitch especially had unlimited stamina and a massive prey drive but was very hard mouthed - definately not world beaters but I had countless hours of fun mooching around the mountains with these two.............

    John, you're slipping butt - there was a red kites nest 15 mins walk from your house last year, laid two eggs, one hatched but didn't survive one of the many storms we had last summer! Also saw a peregrine take a racing pigeon above the park a couple of years ago......
