  6. if buying a pup, try to get out and see the parents work, papers or not. my springer is 11months, doing well, he has no papers and neither did his parents, but they were good dogs from good working stock. why would a dog want papers, sure they cant read http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac262/irishnut100/dogs/fone117.jpg hes carrying amazing muscle on him at the minute, swims like an eel and beats hard already
  7. the only thing holding you back is yourself, i've limited use of my left arm(ie very fecking little use) but i shoot single handed both rifle and shotgun, i also do a lot of terrier work(all to ground). when you try the pigeon shooting and love it, you'll start thinking of ways to adapt yourself and gear to suit the style you have. i would recomend getting a quad, but until you can afford it i'd get the loan of the dog you said about and give it a go. good luck
  8. get an sia course from the dole for free, surely theres work in security local, its boring work but its money for nothing, good luck

  11. i've seen a fella walk a dog like that in newry past few nights, he walks it towards m.o.t centre at around 5.30-6.00, he walks it with a tall fawn/redish staffy, but only recently have i seen the terrier with him, i only noticed it because it looks a bit like mine.(dog in avatar, now older) i hope this helps, newry is only up the a1 from where you said.
  12. why get a ranger when the mazda is the same machine, but its cheaper. both seem ok off road, aint no landy, but your ass will thank you for it on the big runs the new vw looks to be a clinker, but will prob be pricey
  13. i recently bought a male pup, only to discover a defective gene in the r cromozone meaning all male pups are gay, pity as i have a sister of him i was going to line him to. hes 3 months, tested on all game, started him on ducks, reluctant sale as im moving house to a monastry, £7634 no trial given as my word is my bond, im a honest guy, so i'll tell you this, the dog lost his tail in a nasty door closing accident, he has webbed feet and only 1 eye. he has a good stamp, it says 1st class(41p it cost) so i can post him. serious replys only, no messers or paw kickers. atb nut
  14. ive a range rover classic 300tdi, with bigger turbo and intercooler, 3" suspension lift, 3" body lift, 38x13.5 r16 creepy crawlers on it(new), it does get stuck, but only stuck behind boys in toys like sj's comfy seats, bit of extra sound proofing, its fuking great, in fields i can run at 3-5psi, no ground damage. reinflate the tyres with an air-con pump for roads
  15. i've a collie bull grey x eng foxhound, 10 months,i've let him try running as a lurcher catch dog, now i've just started letting him hunt up as a hound. 17. these look like good tools, but very very clean, are they ornamental
  18. i have very cheap ideas on my idea wagon, it would be a mismatch of cars ive had, it would be a land rover 110 pick up king cab, perfect body, with tdv8 range rover engine & auto box, gas conversion, cobra seats. terrafirma extreme suspension. big mud terrain tyres, snorkels(2). good sound insulation and a good radio. i have the landy 110, my dad has the tdv8, i will need to pinch his engine soon to complete the set up
  19. is there a connection between the thai and rhodesian ridgebacks, the ole ridge on the back isnt exactly common, dont look similiar other than that. the rhodesian is made up from mastiff, greyhound, pointer, hound and a wild african dog which had the ridgeback ( i saw it on tv today)

    boils

my pure advice, as a brother to a doctor (non medical), is to rub the boil area with grit sand paper, then clean the area with jeyes fluid on a bit of bog roll. place a pair of mole grips on the boil at a loose fit, then tighten the moles by 6 complete thread turns, now cover the moles in detol soaked bog roll, and squeeze the boil in 1 fast and meaningful motion. before doing this i must ask, have you been walking around dressed as a lady, with your balls tucked up behind, it may be a ballock, so be careful
  21. any pics, would this moles pelt be any good for patching my moleskin trousers, they are sandy colour
  22. word is that he is in the grounds of the local castle, as there is always a moat around a castle
  23. i've been looking for a blade sharpener for a while for carrying in the field. at home i use the 3 whet stones, but they are too big to carry. i was using a ceramic/diamond combi stone, but its slow. then i got a bladetech, its nasty kit, eats the blade away fast
  24. yes i died for 3 1/2 mins in a bike crash. the experience was very warm, i saw the red pearly gates
