  1. i get all of the 12 farmers whose land i hunt, a bottle at christmas, costs a good bit but at the end of the day i need to say thanks, lose the permission and i'll have to take up knitting, to all the boys helping on the farms, well done, worth loads more than a bottle, anyone not giving, wise up stop being so tight
  2. just got this beast home, he is bloody stinking, gave a good wash, still stinks. terriers seem to like him, just as well as he is living with them
  3. the jimny is a mini monster off road, great tool, a fella in our off road club has a tidy little machine, with 3" lift and 245/75 r16 bfg mt's,
  4. my terrier dog is very protective of me and my car, day or night, but if he's with my girlfriend on his own someone could actually steal her and he wouldn't even bark
  5. i've been using a lightforce 240, great light really light, had no wiring probs, and used at least 2-3 times per week. used 2 or 3 other lamps before, this has lasted longest, bulbs are cheap
  6. getting my new lurcher next week all being well. sire is bullxcolliexgrey dam is bullxwheatenxgrey. both parents are working, he is 16 weeks, keeper mate reared his dam, and she is cracker
  7. land rover all the way, a td5 disco is a great motor, just do the checks mentioned above as well as the sunroof check and ecu loom, great thing about land rover is that they hold the money, so if you keep it for 5 years it is still worth selling, instead of jap scrapping it. i.e using it off road as a cheap and poor substitute for a landrover. servive history is key, atb nut
  8. i'm building a terrier/tool box for the back of my land rover, wondering if anyone has such a box already mate, that i could pinch a design from,to keep water out of tools, while at the same time letting the dogs breathe, it has to be 2 separate sections for tools(shovels, jack, etc) and dogs, and then the dog section needs 2 separate terrier box's, as my 2 terriers hate each other, with a passion. i have height of 19", width of 31" and lenght of 54". i have rigid mesh, of 4mm wire with hole of 3/4", its 58" long by 20" wide, i also have marine plywood which is melamine coated, 8'x4' sheet,
  9. the 110 hi cap is going to be my hunting car, used for nothing but hunting, so im going to build a sliding dog box in the rear tub. it will slide away from the cab, so it can be sat on when out lamping, rest rifle on the roof, not had much interest in it when i tried to sell it, but hey,
  10. what about chasing a rabbit on the quad, then when within rang, hit it with a boomarang, sporting chance lol
  11. my russell is very similiar to the white dog, mines a bit smaller looking, works a good hole too though
  12. im a die hard landy fan, i'd never drive anything but land rover, but wouldn't even consider anything thats been made within the last 11 years. they were never great but they have charm, i feel bad the green badge has fallen to crap. why make rubbish when you have the gear to make great.
  13. i have a springer and a terrier, so my main concern is speed and a bit of intelligence
  14. the more gear and better prepared you are then the shorter it takes
  15. sounder never worry, i was only writing crap for the craic
  16. if you are as skilled at hunting as you are at taking photos, then that bird must have a great life, the pic of the bird closing on that rabbit is amazing, great work
