  1. its a comedy you moaning twat get back to kent you god botherer no sense of humour me thinks Not just prejudiced but ignorant too, well done you! Just because I don’t think some ignorant racist old man is funny does not make me a ‘god bother’ as you so liberally denounced me. I don’t agree with your point of view, but your entitled to it. You don’t agree with mine and that fine, there is no need to be aggressive or rude about it.
  2. I can't believe how prejudiced some of the people on this board are.
  3. benelli every time, the action works on the recoil of the cartridge and not gases expelled from the shot. This means a Benelli action does not get filled up with crude like a gas action, this means better reliability and easier cleaning. A benelli is more expensive but a better bit of kit, its the old saying you get what you pay for! ATB Jonno

  6. Hi Rav, I have just bought a Redfield 3-9 x 50 for my HMR (which I havent bought yet! I bought the scope first so the rifles not just say in the cupboard unusable because it doesnt have a scope.) http://www.redfield.com/riflescopes/ I tested quite a lot of scopes before I bought this one. I have to agree with Mike I am a Leupold fan, that is why I bought the Redfield. Its made by Leupold in the same factory. It also comes with the same transferable life time warranty as Leupolds. The difference is that the cheapest leapold 3-9x50 is the VX1 3-9x50 which Uttings have on special o
  7. It may not be what your after but I went into Lidl today to buy some beer (they do three bottles of Hobgoblin for £3.99!)and they had an HD waterproof cam corder for £99.99. I thought it was a bargain and it came with HDMI cables. Just thought a heads up might help. ATB Jonno

  10. I have 1000 to buy and 1500 to own. I haven't yet bought the rifle though! I followed the BASC advice. from the following link: http://www.basc.org.uk/en/utilities/document-summary.cfm/docid/6DADB271-D8D5-4EEF-B71B486DEB7A38C2 but in short it says the following: 'For .22 rimfire the usual quantity would be 750 or 1,500 rounds, depending on how much shooting you do and how easy it is to get fresh supplies. This will allow you to buy another 500 or 1000 before you run out (see Question 21). For serious target shooters or rabbit controllers the required quantity may well be much gr
  11. Yes SAK are good, very good value for money, you can spend a LOT more and get a slightly quiter mod but frankly whats the point. Buy a SAK for £30 and spend the rest on a pod or some ammo. http://www.shootingtimes.co.uk/guns/121761/Sound_moderators_for_22_rimfires.html a good article on .22 mods on shooting times. Hope that helps ATB Jonno

  20. I too am planning on buying a t-bolt, but I have just splashed out on a 22.250 so the HMR is going to have to wait a couple of months! In response to liongeorge's comment I have seen a couple of reviews on the t-bolt (link below) they all say that the accuracy is spot on http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/guns/462008/Browning_TBolt_rifle_review.html I personally think its a higher spec gun than the CZ from what I can see, and I have had a good look at both of them in the shop too (I used to have a 453 in .22LR) The browning is compound bedded into the stock, not something I have seen on a
  21. I think that the program gave a bit of a biased view towards the antis point of view, I felt that we the shooting comunity were not portrade vin the unbiased manner which the antis would expect of their views. And as for the stupid townie woman who said that feeding foxes did not encourage them! its people like her who begin to 'tame' foxes and make them used to human contact who are resposible for foxes attacking humans. A 'wild' fox would run a mile from humans as we all know, but these town foxes who are used to being fed by humans lose the fear of us and are then quite capabl of sne
