    If you want to shoot foxes @ 70 yards ffs get a .22 hornet. shooting them with a shotgun at that range is downright irresponsible, 30 -40 yards max wth a shotgun, and I dont care what cartridge/load you have in.

    The thing is Joe 1888, (see the attached picture) that is the arrogant self assured hubris of the lefty, I would, (as doubtless others would) be more than happy to have a debate on the subject, but when we get insults thrown at us, time and time again, the debate option goes out of the window, why may I ask are you not chastising Pesky for his "childish insults" towards us, I suggest before you make one of YOUR balanced replies, you read his diatribe, or is his insult throwing justified in your eyes?

    I would imagine if you put a .22 alongside a .177 the .22 will make less noise in the hammer department, as they will have put a stronger hammer spring in the .177 to get the power up to legal limit, hence the noise.

    Out with Seeker last year, he shot a dog fox @ about 70 yards with his 6.5x55, I was working the lamp, heard the bullet hit home, fox hits the deck, got up and ran like the bloody wind, it took us about half an hour to find it, eventually found it stuffed in the hedge bottom about a hundred yards from where it dropped, it was so tightly jammed in it must have hit the hedge at 30 mph, when we dragged it out, it had a hole the size of a tennis ball in its chest, 100 grain hollow point but I have to say I have never seen one run twice.

    Lets look at it this way, most of these dirty scum, dont work, so they have all the time in the world to breed like fu*ing rats, the more they breed the more they can sponge off us mugs, who have to actually go out to work to look after our families, so is there any wonder we are being "enriched" more and more each year.
