Thats an interesting squirrel on the right in his brown coat mate -
So am I mate, this is one of the most sorted springers I have ever had, it is surgically accurate, deadly out to 50 yards, dont really want to part with it, but I am after a new cf, so cash towards it would be good.

A Brief Summary Of My Latest Pigeon Shoot
charlie caller replied to Jairon Fletcher's topic in Pigeon Shooting & Decoying
As Moxy says a bit more interaction/participation would do the lads cred no harm at all, I am 100% sure he is not a bad sort, just got a vivid imagination thats all, so I will repeat what I said on the airgun section, COME ON LAD TAKE IT WITH A PINCH OF SALT AND GET SOME REPLIES IN -
Very much doubt it will have a barrel problem, .222 is not noted for burning barrels, or throats out, but of course only a careful check will tell you, if the ammo is not fmj then the chances of it being a range gun is unlikely, some people dont bother moderating .222 as its not a loud calibre in the scheme of things, good luck, hope its ok for you.

I would not be too sure about that, most of them are raving antis, I visited a RSPB site last year with a mate and the kids, and bloody good it was too, and interesting for the kids, got to see a hobby and one or two other uncommon birds, when we got back to the centre after walking round, I noticed a big board with loads of pictures pinned to it, well almost every picture was kids dressed up as shooters with imitation guns and silly messages like we kill everything, if it flies it dies etc underneath, so brainwashing kids with crap from silly stunts like that is not beyond them.

Top the lot of them.

Views On Shooting Foxes When Cubs Are About?
charlie caller replied to slipper's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I tend to leave them until I see the cubs out and appear to be fending for themselves, then shoot them too, however if a lot of stock is being taken, well you do what you have to -
It takes around 2.5 ftlbs energy to kill a rabbit (head shot) so it is still delivering more than enough energy to do the job @ 70 yards, but should you shoot at 70 yards? In my opinion no, my .243 is still delivering well over a thousand ftlbs at 500 yards, would I shoot at a deer/fox at that range? No, the art is getting as close as you can and delivering a single humane kill shot, as said practice, practice, and more practice.

Only if you have a closed ticket, which means you can shoot on land that is passed only, open ticket means you can shoot anywhere you have authority, the onus being on you to decide if the shot is safe or not, which of course you should take great care in doing, passed or not.

Classic example of lefty liberal self hating propaganda at work, but thankfully they cant fool all the people all the time, and folk are waking up.

One bang from a 12 bore is not the end of the world, and would get the job done.
