We were driving home through Leyburn tonight at 5.30 .and the traffic was very bad on both sides of the road six cars behind us was a Police car with Blue lights on and the Siren going , we had to stay in the flow of traffic as there was no place to pull out the way or stop, slowly the police car overtook the other cars until it was behind us just as we got to a lay bye and too our surprise it was us he was after ! he asked my Wife "did she know why he stopped us " and she said No ! he then said Her Number Plate was illegal and there was a £100 on the spot fine unless the Plates were not c

I have been asked to build the foundations for two posh houses in Leicestershire the Builder cannot get a Bricklayer for Love nor Money , its not very straight forward and I think a lot of young Fellahs would struggle with it ! I owe this man nothing though he pays up on the Nail , what should I ask for ? Cash Per Day ?

Just bought a couple pair of Leather Boots [Brashers ] , I have only ever put Dubbin on my Footwear in the past do I keep using it or is there a better treatment available ? also I will need some good Socks ……..Must be NON ELASTICATED or my Birdlike Legs and Feet will double in size instantly.

In 74 I used to go Rabbiting at a place called Liddington right at the side of Uppingham I think that this were the first releases took place by the People who were running the Osprey project at near by Rutland Water the place was alive with Rabbits and I thought that the twice yearly Mixi outbreaks would help establish them , the project was a winner and with in 5 years you could see birds all over south Leicestershire, there were a lot of Feed stations in the area and they thrived , people said that they only ate Carrion but a Keeper I know who is a very serious man saw one kill a pheasa

I don't know much about PSI but in those days you needed a letter from the Chief Constable to have one , the gun was very easy to use and I could pot as many Rabbits as I wanted at 50 yards with Peep sights, as with all things in those days I was taught to do things the right way from Gun Safety down to gutting a Rabbit but the common sense approach has now been replaced with the need for speed and Sportsmanship has been replaced by the need to brag and treat the hunted creature with contempt

I saw a Gull with a fully grown live Rabbit I never saw it catch it but it had a grip and was trying to control it , I never saw the outcome of the tussle as I was in traffic though there was a lot of Mixi in the area

! read this morning that the Man charged was accompanied by an appropriate adult allocated by the Court his Mother was there with a large Teddy Bear, is this the start of a defence that will try to deflect some of the 35 + Years sentence which is certainly coming to who ever committed this Crime .
