There are lots of Deer where I live and I see them most days when I am in the Woods , this morning I put five up out of some Bracken not more than 50 yards away and then an hour later I saw two more on a Wire Mesh Fence one had its head caught and was going Frantic and the other was running at the Mesh and bouncing off when I was close to them the Bouncing Boy jumped the Fence with six Feet to spare , I unfastened the other which was quite easy to do and off it went , is this very common behaviour as I have never seen it before though it must be the reason why there is no Barbed Wire here for

After advice on here I bought some Brashers , they are by far the most comfortable Boots I have ever owned and I have owned a lot , the are most noticeable when walking down Hill and there are a lot of them Effers around here .

I am told that they were never much good and having a close look at them you can see why ! too complicated and not enough power would be generated by the spring also they are quite hard to come by and the price may come as a shock , the trap market is a bit depressed right now but it will climb back in the future and you have a Jewel in your hands

16 feet down is twice as high as a standard house ceiling and will require shoring up as you go down !you say that the digging is horrendous that implies to me that the ground is unstable making it much worse , if you have no expierrence in groundworks leave it well alone just block the holes well and if you have any traps bait them and push them well in and cover them up , the Ferret will eat its way out eventually and its just a matter of being there around the time that happens , other Ferrets will knock it off but I would wait till the Ferret moves again , over the years I have left man

Pigs Head Sharp Knife Plenty of Heat Scrape the lot in a pot and Guts it down …… Food that made an Empire .

Any one bother making it the old way ? back in the day Mam made loads , in those day the Pig Skin had a thicker layer of Fat on it when it had been rendered down she added the Jelly from Pigs Feet to sit at the bottom of the Dripping pot . Dripping on toast with a few Pork Scratchings on it ! Heaven .

Not sure , probably a Fox but who knows , had a few what cats have done they start on the back of the neck ……..very neat eaters bottom picture was a Fox ! I have fed hundreds .

There is no free half the Rabbit was fair caught and the wire has gone around its rear leg [common] and the chewing was done by small teeth .. MAGPIE JUST STARTED

It looked to me that ,that Rabbit had been started on before the Buzzard had arrived because Fur or Feather the Buzzards like to pluck first

I have had a lot of Rabbits taken by Buzzards and to me they seem to start at the rear end first

When I was a kid I was told that a Stoat was good for the Rabbit population and a Weasel was welcome in the Hay Ricks ! would the Pine Martin be welcome in the Forests to maintain a population of whatever it predates on ?

What is wrong with being a Vegetarian ?a good proportion of the World are and they bother no one ! I know a few and to me they just like foods other than Meat , what I think is a bit odd is that people who catch Rabbits Ducks ,Pheasants ETC and never eat them ! then sit back and call people for being Vegetarian ?

The older I get the less I like Meat and when I do eat it I like the cheap stuff Offal ,Tripe , Breast of Lamb Sheep head[ that's now banned ] or Pigs Feet , I suppose its how you are brought up !never had a Pizza or that stuff in a block what they slice bits off of , for Supper I like Toast and Pork Dripping ,Cheese or Sardines , never liked any of this ready made stuff because its full off Cancer as my Mam told Me. -
When you burn Rubbish in a Destructor it is easily filtered but you are left with hazardous waste [Heavy Metals ] which is difficult and expensive to deal with , if the said waste can be sorted and recycled most of the waste problem can be overcome . The real problem is that most people will not tolerate a large Chimney in their area no matter how much the smoke has been filtered
