The Hares made £11 each because there was only two in the auction the MJ made a good price as they usually go for around £15 , Pheasants made £1 each again there was only 40 in , Rabbits made £5 a couple and there was just three couple there , Ducks (Mallard ) made around 70 pence each though they used to be a good seller but my Mrs bought 4 large Aylesburys from Morrissons at a fiver each . Until recently at this time of the year there would be hundreds of Rabbits and Pheasants , dozens of Hares Woodcock , Snipe thousands of Eggs and Baskets of Fruit and Vege but now its Dead,

I was in Leicestershire two Weeks ago ,I went onto two large Farms and there was a lot on both after three years of nothing . Not World beating places but you can get a few each Week of the season .

I have just read on FB that WESSEX FM Has reported that a chap has got 8 weeks suspended Prison ,Barred from parts of three Counties , and banned from being in possession of any Wild animal or Bird or of any part of either , plus fines and costs For lamping Rabbits In another case at Naas in Ireland was sentenced to three Months Nick for lamping Rabbits. ITS WARMING UP OUT THERE

Experts who have been in the Game 10 minutes or so will not know that also they will not know that a Trammel net can cope with Rabbits moving at speed Experts who have been in the Game Ten minutes or so will not Know that ! what they also don't know is that a Trammel can eliminate Bounce , I suppose it may sink in after year or two .

If you find it rare to see Rabbits bounce off a long net you need to make a film to show how it is done because to me and many others it is a regular occurrence .

I grew up with Trad Long nets and never gave a thought to changing but after using these Preset Trammel nets I could never go back and if I was starting out now I would have a shed full, you can stick those trad nets up your Arses because these are the boys that do the Job .

Over the last 50 years i have had some very good Rabbiting land in Leics Lincs and Northants , over those years there have good and bad seasons but you could always catch a few without much trouble , about 4years ago I noticed a decline on a large Keepered area in South Leicestershire slow at first but after 3 years there was none , I thought I would rest this place for a season and I went back to South Lincs where I had worked a 7000 acre spread since the 70s ,I seen the Gaffer and he gave me the OK but said that there were not many running in at Harvest time ! how right he was there

There are D notices from a hundred years ago protecting MPs and Royalty under the assumption that it was not in the Public Interest to know what they all got up too ! same in WW2 they were all protected and in those cases they needed protecting because every f***ing one was a Nazi , Lord Haw Haw was hung for a trumped up Passport offence most of the Royals were Guilty off a lot worse and still kept their jobs .

And what then ? he will be sent off to look at some staving Kids , cuddle some Aids Victims, perhaps open a Hospice and then life will go on as normal for him ! the Fly in Ointment is Ghislaine but I don't expect her to be around for much longer in fact the only reason she is still alive is Her Diary .
