    Enjoyed the book. A really good read about a man from my hometown. He keeps to himself mostly, and i never knew the history behind his dog's. It was a nice insight into his dogs and how they were bred.

    I recon there are still some out there with good working Lakeland, Fell types. Few and far between though, compared to black dogs.

    Lads, just noticed a good few on here put up photo's of their terriers, (and lurcher for that matter), in their homes. Is it a common thing these days, to keep your workers in the house? Not knocking anyone that does it, just wouldn't dream of doing it myself. I dont keep dogs inside full stop. I don't know anyone who does over here. Maybe its an English thing? ?

    No im not saying that. It was a cuntish thing to do, if indeed it was purposely killed. But this whole facebook thing, where people are so f****n brainwashed, it boils my blood. They talk the same talk, and walk the same walk. If you have a different opinion, your a c**t. If i was on facebook, (which im not), i could pick out the very same comment as yours a thousand times, word for word. And yes, most of them would be from anti hunting people.     Yes it was a shitty thing to do, IF indeed thats how things went down. But your statement is nothing to be proud of. I've heard that shit thrown at kids for hunting and fishing. Wishing they were dead, ffs. I'd expect that from the uneducated tree huggers who can't see past their own selfish views on how the world should be. To talk the way they talk, means your listening to what they say. It's pure poison.

    Totally agree! A lot of good dog men out there, that keep to themselves, and wouldnt bother their arses coming on here to talk shite. Jesus some on here would have you believe that if your not on THL you have nothing lol, which is far from reality.

    Not to mention, quality! A lot of similar products today, are made from inferior materials, and would not stand the test of time. A lot of items in that catalogue would still do their job, generations down the line.

    How about hanging them on her walls, like display items? Either that, or make a trappers hat for the winter? Something I thought about doing. Lots of good tutorials on YouTube about it.
