    My old fell bitch was predominantly a digging dog, but she also made a very good bird dog, would work fox in cover (both with collar on), and also an excellent ratter. Kept her well clear of rabbits for obvious reasons. She was easy handle too, and had a bit of brains about her.

    Could be true. Maybe that's how this plague thing got here? They say it is being speed from one waterway to another by anglers equipment, waders, boats etc

    We don't have the red claws over here. The natives are fairly plentiful. Drag in a lot whilst fishing. Heard recently that this plague has hit one major river system which has wiped everything out. If it hits the Shannon, then that could be the end for the creyfish

    We had some great nick names for teachers in secondary school. Batman, Poppa Smurf, Spit's, Scruffy Brady, and Budgy Collins to name a few. I asked the kids recently what names they had on their teachers, and they looked at me as if I had two heads. Thought I was bloody crazy lol
