    i would like to say more to the point what they doin digging a badger sett but after seeing what the so called experts called a sett when a local keeper got done for "intensionaly snaring" a brock il hold my tounge...... my ex who had 10 years experience surveying for badgers, the forestry commision badger watch guy, huntsman, hunt terrierman all gave statements that is was NOT a sett or even a satilite, but a one hole rabbit warren... the prosecution had 1 guy with 2 years experience with badgers and the courts took there word... fecking joke, next time im over there il take a picture of t

    Very simple!! Rabbits breed f***ing fast, foxes don't. but surely a litter of foxs affects / costs a poultry farmer or keeper as much as a few hundred rabbits do to a arable farmer

    Before i start im going to say that this is in no way a attempt at starting arguments... But why is it that no one seams to be bothered about shooting bunnies at any age and at any time of the year (me incluced) but when someone takes a fox or cub at this time of year there slated for being cruel or un sporting...( to me vermin is vermin at any time of the year) any one any theories (sp) on this one ??

    natural causes i would guess, up here you can get hard weather right up to and into may..alot of that area is owned by my bosses family and doubt very much that they or any other professional stalkers would leave beasts like that.. could also be old injurys or ill health.. edited to add.... the first picture id say it was injured during last seasons rut and died not long after, being a ten plus pointer id say it held a heard of hinds and was involved in a territorial fight with a spiker ...its belly is showing signs of lets say "amourouse activitys" the black stain on its fur is cause du

    just got one too, i spent 2 days on the spey at knockando , salmon were every where, the only problem was i couldnt stay upright long enough to say i could have got a cast off... had the same idea as you though before i went....
