  1. it was only a matter of fecking time i was just thinking we had got past this controvertial time with out a thread like this..... pest control and sport ... so come on then gavmac who you on about????? over the last 10 pages in this section i can find 7 people who have posted regarding digging at this time of year.. my self, ragumup, rio, sounder jnr, tommy1967, eamon mc, and farmer.... in there to my knowledge theres 2 keepers, and a hunt terrierman in that list, so i look forward to your replie..
  2. no matter where you dig you will get noticably dirty as will the dog... no matter how stoney....
  3. out of interest why dont he just do then dens?? vixen and cubs together and a good chance of the dog before dark... saves alot of time after shooting a milky vixen away from her cubs
  4. ONLY 19 DIGS AND IT'S ONE OF THE TOP 5 TERRIERS YOU HAVE SEEN . TELL ME. WHAT MADE HER ONE OF THE BEST YOU SEEN ???? HOW LONG WERE THE DIGS ????? il answer for you shay.. go f**k ya self ya dick.. he says HE has dug to it 19 times this season not that the dog has only had 19 full stop.. .. and 19 digs is more than enough to see what a dog is made of.. say from oct to feb( 5 month ) roughly 150 days, so one break through every 7 days, thats not including bolts..... ( so not bad by any standards ) go play with ya ferret rather than f*****g a good thread
  5. its like that every where now, like every thing in life its a minority that tars the majority one case up hear that led to a conviction but it was a farmer that didnt keep game birds
  6. he lost his ticket, but got no charges brought against him... he was away working on the rigs at the time and must have proved he had taken reasonable steps to keep the keys hidden,
  7. well hear gos there not all bad.. last year we had some roe and red shot with a .22.. we found 4 hidden / dumped and shot another a few days later that was lame, again with .22 wounds we reported it to the police, with in 12 hours it was on our local news and page 2 of our locall rag ..... the best bit is that the tossers that did it went bragging in his local (where 7 people took it upon them selves to grass them up) it was later found that the .22 was taken from his father without permission or certificate... ... they got a years probation a 900 note fine
  8. Not to sure about that mate as there are plenty of footpath's that are on legal shooting ground's and game shoots, not to mention Military Ranges. You have to be 30 feet away from a road though. Like i said though, i might be wrong. iv always been told its 50 feet from the centre of a public right of way, ie road, or footpath..... sean3513 is right there is no law that includes leads, as long as the dog is under control and will return on command the law deams this as "under control" either way they broke the law as the caused alarm and distress with a firearm....
  9. by the sound of things you need to put a few pound on yours........ overweight nmy a@@e well done soundet jnr keep goin lad....
  10. Think this post hits the nail on the head. Job done. well not quite..... just because a hare has not got sharp teeth and doesnt take stock or fowl dos not make it a none pest, as you know theres three main types of farmers.. mixed stock, dairy, and arable.... now in arable farming areas hares can in there right numbers be a very serious pest....... instead of agreeing that people should open there eyes may be you should broaden yours and see the bigger picture..
  11. 4 dont have a clue make it up mate everybody else does
  12. well done, good shooting, keep it up bud
  13. is that the result of someones heather burning going tits up, take some stopping once away like that..
  14. well your right that its often the bitch that lacking its share of abbilitys in a mating, my opinion of the reason is as follows.... alot people for what ever reason think that as you have mentioned bitches cant take give or take the preasure like a dog can, so will always look for a dog when looking at pups, which then leads to (in general) more dogs than bitches getting tried and tested at work, which over time will have had a effect on the percentage of good working bitches that are out there.... 2 of the 3 best digging dogs iv seen were bitches, one of which i have the pleasure to own
  15. any one got a photo of one please ??? or a discription.. cheers
