I wouldn't bother too much about the brand unless you've cash burning a hole in the pocket. I got suckered in by having to get a specific type of gun and then even more suckered by posh wood. I regret buying it actually, I can shoot with it but I spent over two grand which was daft really. Its way too heavy for rough shooting, I am paranoid about knocking it on something. As I've been rough shooting more and more I needed a gun that was light and wouldn't matter if I wacked it on a gate post. I bought myself a 20 year old spanish 12 bore SBS which fits me perfectly, all my worries abou

Ending up out of work is my biggest fear even more than spiders

I'm scared of spiders but I worked in Algeria and the Middle East and we used to get these mother f**kers in the desert. In July I was in Kurdistan and we were having a chat outside and I seen this massive camel spider charging towards me, I didn't mess about, mid sentence I just legged it away at full speed. The are the scariest creatures in the world and I hate them.

I think I posted it earlier by my old man always said "The people get the government it deserves" If you don't vote and don't make sure your wife/kids vote you have no voice. There is no excuse anymore as there is a sensible voice in politics. Stay at home on polling day and you have no right to complain When UKIP rape the 3 big parties on the next European elections maybe people will sit up and listen.

That is why the BNP started getting votes and the EDL sprang up. The fact is the ruling elite refused to listen to people (Gordon Brown on the Bigoted woman for example) and they got frustrated. As long as there is one rule for them and one for us this will continue to happen. I like UKIP for their common sense approach, in the end like it or lump it the UK has ethnic diversity but that doesn't mean we've got to accept a group of people who want to live by their own foul racist ideology. The establishment is scared of them and it needs to grow a set of balls asap.

I think their numbers are way up on last year from what people have said. Also I think there are a lot more than people realise, according to the RSPB there's 1.6 million of them over winter here in the UK. -

They say that pine has a lot of sap in it as well that is bad for your flue liner if you have one. If you are going to burn wood you want decent hardwood like ash or oak. Pine is the best for kindling though. I had a load of pallets and logs that I'd spend days cutting up. It filled half of my big coal bunker and looked amazing. We'd burned nearly all of it within about 7 weeks Unless I could get hardwood very very cheap I think I'll stick to coal

We stopped off at the services near Luton on the way home from France. We couldn't believe our eyes! The place was rammed with the dirty buggers. I have never been so glad to come back up north as I was that day!

If you buy off the internet you can pay anywhere from 90-140 quid for seasoned hardwood. Defo not cost effective I imagine if you live in rural areas you can get them for a fraction of the price.
