  11. Hi iksopener...spun poly nets are going to be hand tied so for a £1 each it will mean one of three things 1 they are absolute crap......2 they are stolen 3they absolute stolen crap......I'd give them a wide berth mate....I'll do spun poly 3'6" for £2.25 each plus p&p

  16. When you say the hob's "been done" do you mean castrated or vasectomised? Either way I'd play it safe and get it down to the vet. ATB

That tick remover looks OK....the idea is to get all the tick out and that can take a bit of practise....for 40 quid I would have wanted all the ticks removed,the vet hasn't done you any favours there I think the easiest way is frontline on a cotton bud....you gave a list of reasons why I shouldn't do this(sounded a bit like a clever sales pitch to me) but I've never had any trouble ATB
  18. Hi Hunterlass, the nets you're talking about are bourse nets(poke nets) they're just a variation on the theme . They're tied the same as conventional purse nets but are usually tied onto sliders and sometimes with two drawstrings (which I prefer)as already mentioned the real advantage is on larger nets . Sliders or rings it makes no real difference they both work as well as each other ATB

  22. If you buy a machine made net ,mate, it's going to be 14 meshes wide. I've used this type of net for years now...no probs, so I've got to say around 14 for me . ATB
