  1. And your views on Oil and Gas companies who drill thousands of feet into the Earth? I think it's a great science experiment which has unfortunately been plagued by problems. The Flat Earth Society would have us still living in caves if we were to listen to them.
  2. Sure I'm used to that with you .22-250 eh, you know my thoughts side of broad hit the barn a Couldn't. Rearrange the above for your own reference

    Huntley

    I'm crying a river here.
  4. Depends on who the person looking is. Profile is public so what can ya do. Like Craigy, couldn't care less who looks at mine, few bits and pieces in there but nothing worth writing to the Ed.
  5. I have to say, all credit to that lad and his cartridge belt comment. That's the best thing I've read on here in ages Completely untrue, but feckin classic
  6. No it would not be beneficial. No it is not morally right to do so. I don't know. These things are well and good until it is you, a loved one, or someone you know who are at the tender mercies of such a government and it's spineless population.
  7. Have been seeing it here for the past three weeks Rolfe.
  8. I won't be supporting anyone. What I will be doing is enjoying the usual tabloid building up, knocking over, and ripping apart and how the loudmouths swallow it all and take it so much to heart. It's only a game lads, and not even a good one at that.
  9. Good luck fella. Dad had twins this morning, well, not actually himself. Mine are set to start in 4 days, may head out tonight again for a look.
  10. How could they tell that from normal you? Well, it happens from time to time I guess. I was surprised to find the little fox on the grass, decided against taking that photo tbh. First thought was where did the fox get that dog pup? Until closer examination it was a fox. Strange...I thought you were a .22-250 man John. Must be someone else. No TT, I'm on my 2nd .223, never had a .22-250.
  11. No doubt they'd engage their sense of humour

    Dreams

I had an awful dream the other night. I'd been sent to Hell. The proper real deal, suffering, fire, brimstone, all kinds of awful things. Had enough of it after a while and happened to meet the Devil, asked him is there any chance at all of getting out of this place? Well he said, there's only one guaranteed way out of Hell. So I asked him what it was. You have to shag the ugliest woman in Hell. So I looked around and picked out a right horrible looking ould one, how about her? No, no, said the Devil, not even close. There she is over there. The foulest looking creature you e
  13. That's a very good shot TC! (TC, does that make me Magnum and you a black fella btw?). I always like to get one quickly, as the night goes on then you know at least you won't blank.
  14. The rifle is a Remington VL SS .223 and I'm shooting Hornady 40grain Vmax right now.
  15. Thursday, March 18th. I'm kicking myself right now. I got caught up doing things in the city and when I got home the meeting I was supposed to be at (which I actually really wanted to go to!) this evening had completely slipped my mind. Oh well, I got to go shooting instead! My mate John came over and we headed out about as local as we can get. We walked out an old track onto the hill and pretty much hung around in a gale of wind to see nothing for forty minutes or so. Decided then to head back towards the car, not sure were we heading home or moving to greener fields to be honest. We
  16. Site from New Zealand http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/gulls-terns-and-skuas/1 Glad ye don't have any problems with them, they're a huge bird alright!
  17. On my way home from the city today, traveling behind slow moving traffic. I noticed a young lamb in a field, the ewe was looking very disturbed looking left and right constantly. Only then did I notice two black backed gulls, one either side of her. Feckers, wish I had one of the guns with me We have trouble with them from time to time ourselves.

    £15,000

Something sensible, utterly boring, and totally reliable. And pocket the remainder. Great help, I know Must be a ford then I'd prefer Japanese. Mind you, the most fun car I ever drove was a Ford Fiesta I had while my own car was being repaired. Ran on fumes and lots of poke as it had a big engine for the weight of the car. Got to corner on one wheel too..

  21. Liverpool or wait for Man Utd. That'll be a tough choice for him!
  22. TC, I keep meaning to ask after this "fieldcraft" stuff you talk about, but, I know Stewy has taught you all you know so I'll just go ask him, cut's out the middle man Strangely enough I just got a call this morning from a farmer we shot for last year. I'd texted ages back asking after a mineral lick bucket they use and never got a reply. Some coincidence I didn't pick up or return the call, needless to say it was asking for something, yet. Speaking about work, I'm fair busy lately myself. Got my course which I'm enjoying immensly, lambing is upon me and girlfriend duties Once
