I understand your daughters position. I was caught in CDG in Paris just after New Years one time. But, why should airlines refund any more than the cost of the ticket? I don't think bus/train/ferry companies have to.
-
I'll admit to only having a passing interest in this story, so I don't know all the in's and out's. Due to the volcanic ash death cloud, praise be upon him, airlines are being told they must reimburse certain costs that their passengers have incurred due to their flights being canceled. One such cost is accommodation, possibly others but I don't know about that. Now I happen to think this is completely unreasonable. Granted, I'm in the comfortable position of being at home, so I can say that. I am sure someone stranded in airport hell would disagree, and as an experienced member of that club I

I must try that one, sounds good to me.

I voted no. Though I have shot two hares in the past, both were in error. I may shoot some for the pot at some point in the future.

I reckon the next few days will tell the tale, if anything else there get's killed or not. I'm still of the opinion it wasn't birds, any time I've seen birds attack either a live animal of carcass they have always at least plucked out the upturned eyes. All four eyes were present and accounted for and a bird the size of a raven would have no trouble flipping a dead lamb over.

Answer me these... Twins, healthy, with a ewe that has good milk supply both dying within two days of birth, in excellent weather, chances of? Corvids... Why are all four eyes still present on the two lambs? Chewing, when did birds grow teeth :icon_eek:

You bloody would 'n all I bet!

According to CNN, Finnish airforce jets showed some damage after short training flights. Yet some commercial airlines are saying it's safe to fly. Would you board a plane and take the flight if you knew it was to pass through the Volcanic Ash cloud? I have to say that I would not.

There's 583 words in my report, consider it submitted Got to do a 2,000 (or is it 1,000) essay on foxes as a mammal project. Wonder should I include those photos...

looks like someones never seen a chicken coop after a foxs been in it or the back end of a lamb thats been chewed to bits. bunny huggers should be rounded up an dumped in the desert somewhere left to fend for themselfs for a week an see if that changes their attitude when they see nature first hand Never a truer word spoken.

Not one of ours, actually it's a UK lamb. Posted on a forum elsewhere, and the poster was wondering what done this lamb in, thoughts? I have my suspicions, and I know what the poster reckons, just want to see what people here think without influencing ye. The head and tail have been removed. The lamb was several days old and strong.

Sunday April 18th What with my course, travelling, farming and shooting I've not been getting much shut eye. A couple of nights ago a ewe had twins on part of my Dads farm. All was well, good ewe with plenty of milk for them, as they'd been fed for the past while after our disaster of a winter. Lambs were up and about and sucking. Then this happened. And this... I rang my shooting buddy John, we agreed it must be a dog fox. Thinking a vixen would bring the entire lamb/s off with her for either her own cubs or a relations cubs. I figure the ewe left the lambs asleep to

Wouldnt suprise me if this was in Labours election manfestio Actually, they're considering banning the watching of paint drying, or grass growing. The belief is that Gordons TV ratings would soar as these two pleasurable activities would be removed and people would naturally drift back to TV la-la land. Family members all over the UK will be recruited and encouraged to inform on other members if they're caught flouting these new laws. Personally, I think the Irish should re-instate the long lost custom of raiding the West British coastline. Not only would this relieve the boredom

What do you do with your skidmarked y fronts then? I buy a new pair with designer skidmarks once a month, whether I need them or not. If I can't get to civilisation to do that, I hide them in your washing basket

Right then. Honest answers. If your Cons get into Government, do you expect their MP's to vote in favour of repealing the hunting ban? Looking in from outside your country I think it's the height of fanciful thinking to imagine a political party would go with the Rural areas and not the Urban one. I'm assuming, which is the mother of all f**k ups but I'm going to do it anyway, that there would be a type of informed countryside view on the ban and an equally uninformed/emotionally brainwashed view of the ban in Urban areas. Over to you lot for comments. Not interested in other parties,

Washing lines are an outrage, a blight on the countryside. I don't want or need to see skidmarked Y fronts fluttering in a summer breeze. I don't need to know the colour of your undergarments either. Ban them I say, an affront to civilized people all over.

Some nights are just a hard slog

Was out last night at Jurassic park, couldn't get there on time though, missed the fox by minutes as he was driving dogs bananas over side of the hill between the farms. £55 per fox now, jeez I could get a couple boxes of bullets for that... and the 'leccy to run me lamp -
Good looking for there Ian, but seriously, could ya not have given yer Butler the night off like, lazy or what

I'm pacing myself Mike, start as you mean to go on and all that The fact that I only have the one battery this year has put a halt to my gallop anyway, not rushing out to buy a second one neither -
Not sure if it's the same one or not Colin. The one I was talking about started (if I remember right) with a deer being shot at 400 and something odd yards. Then another post had the range removed by a mod when he said he had shot a fox at 350 yards. There was two problems as I saw it, the first was "ethics" were not supposed to be discussed on the site. It has caused problems in the past I think and was agreed not to be part of discussions. The second was that a lot of people were judging the shooting abilities of people they'd never met, never mind shot with. I reckon that aspect caused the

Feckin right I'm knackered. I'm actually glad I can't go again for another few nights. Off out now to feed a pet lamb, then I can hit the hay myself!
