  1. The pee tarty? Ric Pretty sure the porn industry has that name protected
  2. Sure ye robbed it from the Chinese, no right to get upset about it now I think it's a silly name for a political party to be honest, could they not have thought of something a bit more catchy. If Mr. T. joined, I wonder would his sub be waived?
  3. Remington VL SS .223, Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56, Warne mounts, Harris 6-9" swivel bipod (with podlock). Shooting Hornady Vmax 40 grain Vmax. My lamp cost €100, what that yoke set you back again moneybags? And what's a lazer shy fox? Keep up with the times me I've it figured how to get that other fox now. Just waiting on Monday evening
  4. Same reason as why one shooting site split into two not so long ago. People like to judge others according to their own standards and, usually, without knowing the facts. Judge not least someone shell your glasshouse with stones... Or something along those lines...
  5. Oh dear, I can see that doing the rounds for years to come!
  6. Thanks fellas Going to have to have a think on how to get that other fox. It got overly lamped last night IMO. But, at least we now know part of it's route, that's never a bad thing!
  7. "These ones are small. Those ones are far away!"
  8. Wednesday April 7th. I got called out to a lamb problem tonight, local man who surprised me by asking as they have guns themselves. All the gear and... How does that go again Clive? Myself and John arrived over to their farm around nine thirty. A few nights ago I had seen a fox in this area at three in the a.m. I was really hoping that wasn't going to be the fox. PJ kept saying that foxes usually appear on their farm around eleven. I like to be in place as it's getting dark because you just don't know what's going to be about. While the farm is local to me, this is the first time we'd
  9. Dermot Morgan was fantastic. I loved the scene where he's trying to explain perspective to Dougal with the toy plastic cows.
  10. I think tonight may be my last night until Monday or Tuesday too Dave. Plus it's getting nice and dark.
  11. Jeff Dunham? Great user name by the way
  12. Errrm. No. None of that is correct. Sorry. The barrel doesn't come loose. You release a barrel by means of an Allen key, and re-tighten by the same method. Gunsmith does not have any reason to go within an asses roar of it, unless something is broke.
  13. It was a great night Dave Pretty happy as I had to do a bit of work for each fox. About an hour ago a local fella came knocking on the door, a lamb gone night before last, so hopefully we'll have another bit of luck tonight.

  16. Thanks fellas I might venture out tonight to see if I can nab that fox which nicked one of a set of twins Sunday night on another farmer. TC, no problems are a good thing! Besides, it'll be a lot warmer in June for delicate fellas like yourself to get out Any craic with ya besides work? A couple of reasons I do what I do, hot from the oven
  17. Tuesday April 6th. On my rounds of part of Dads farm I've been noticing plenty of fresh fox scat. One even has a bit of rope or part of a wool sock in it. A hogget died, we think of a tick borne disease, her carcass was completely gutted and cleaned out with a few major bones well chewed. With me half way through lambing and Dad's flock just starting to drop it was time to sort this situation out. I contacted my mate John and we agreed to head out just as it got dark. Talk about timing, I'd no sooner put the last fork of dinner in my gob when he was knocking at the door. We set off bac
  18. Tonight is promised good here Dave, bit of a breeze & dry, with the added bonus of the moon going back. Looked at the long range forecast a few days ago and the weather is supposed to pick up soon, not before time either. I'm pondering which job to go at tonight, there's a fox leaving lots of scat in among my Dad's ewes, which are expected to start dropping in those fields int he next couple of days, or I can go to another farm where a lamb was taken from a set of twins Sunday night. Must put the camera in the bag now you mention it.
  19. You might, but if you're dressed a bit too good for the farm they may not believe you.
  20. I wouldn't keep either in the car. Not sure on the carts, but I do know you can get in bother for having the knife if you're not actively using it for purpose.
  21. Yes they are. I think the only spring trap which is mentioned in law is the Gin trap, but I may not be 100% correct on that!
  22. I think you're right Dave, it is slowing down. I'm way down on numbers compared to last year. I'm away a bit, and also off on a course, plus the bad weather. I hope to get out the next two or three nights if the weather is half way decent. Got half my ewes lambed and no losses to fox as yet mind
  23. So that's how TB is transmitted from badgers to cattle
