hi all i am after 5-10 live quail in the telford area. any pigeons/doves also considered. feel free to pm if you have some i can buy ( not bothered about the sexes they are for training a dog on point and will not be harmed)

i have found the slovakian pointers to be very bidable and close working, just to throw that in. good luck finding the right dog. waidmannsheil!!

is the top canine possibly rubbing the lip? making contact there? if its not causing the dog any problems i would keep an eye on it bud and show the vet if i was passing.

i have just bought a dog which has a deep gash across the back foot, initially i cleaned it and put savlon on it untill i got some antiseptic spray used by flockmen. its called septi cleanse and is a wound dressing/ cleanser with a powerfull anti bacterial action ( thats what it says on the tin!!!!! its from net tex ).after a good spray with that i put some intrasite gel on there ( which apparently promotes the regrowth of tissue) its really looking better after a couple of days (not inflamed anymore and seems to be causing him less trouble). considering it looks like the dog has had the wou

90% ofman made earth building is the positioning ( the "perfect site" is no good if the foxes don't run near by). checking an earth with a terrier has not seemed to make any difference ( no need for the dog to enter if he doesn't think an one is home) shooting/dispatching a fox in the earth has ruined them ( iput this down to the fact that concrete pipes hold the scent/ pherhormones etc better than soil/sand of a natural earth). the building material seems not tobe that important either, i have used plastic pipes,drainage pipes ( peforated) ,concrete pipes,clay pipes,slabs,bricks nad

really enjoyed the day, oscar was top notch!! hard running bunnies (we got three out of lord knows how many flushed/bolted) in very tight woods and brambles. glad you rememered your hip flask !!! p.s. very pleased with mo's progress,she did well again today under the bird ( and is tired as hell now..... just how a seven month old slovak should be !!!!!!).

i have just bought two leg lamps for my birds (from westweald falconry.co.uk). they look the dogs danglies to be fair. will be getting them out in the dark too from now on (the hawks not the dogs ...........).

have you felt her keel? ( she may have flown at that weight "fit" last year, and is at the weight "fat" this year? ) i dont know how long you have the bird etc. all the very best in getting her going bud. waidmannnsheil!!

what would not add up there then bud? i've had enough of bell ends calling and saying they are coming and or wanting photo's ( and comments that the dog is not scarred enough for them!!!). if you are interested in the dog then feel free to call or text ( i am in telford shropshire if its too far dont bother). if a trial is needed we can go out tomorrow and see if there is a fox to ground. the dog will make a good hunting partner for someone without kids. donny i am surpised you remembered me, if you would like a pic feel free to drop me a text bud.

i would also say that on the wholethings are going well, if the jesses are bothering you i would get some help changing them ( a tight fit is good in my eyes lol) when they are out grease them up and back in( i use ko chao line), they shouldfit better then. my mate had his free again lastnight, tried her on the rabbit carcass ( she hit it like a tram with a good head hold both times) let herfeed up and he managed a good exchange. waidmannsheil!
