    At what degree are you classed as an alcoholic ? The man that gets up in the morning and hits the bottle, the man who works hard but also drinks everynight but doesn't let it take over or effects his day to day life ? Does how much you drink or how often define you. As has been previously said, self control plays a big part in drinking.

    Nice old pic mackem, them old yuasa gel batteries lol. Remember the old big ones, I cant remember the exact size 17amp I think. It was a big enough battery to spend a full night roadsiding off back of a van with and would last the night till daybreak coupled with the old coleman 800,000 . I still have the lamp lol

    For anybody that enjoyed howards books, there is another book called GRASS by Phill Sparrowhawk. He was one of howards friends and really is a very good read this book, I really enjoyed it ATB

    I remember some of the lads I used to ratch about with back in the day allways fed school dinners. Used to go to the pigswill bins at school with a washing up bowl and fill it, there dogs allways did well back then on the longlugs

    As with most aspects in life there is a right way and a wrong way to go about things. Nothing wrong in running dogs from a motor, it can put a lot of game in front of your dogs. like I said though there is a correct and respectful way of doingt things. There is still plenty of idiots walking the land day and night without the use of a motor fecking things up.

    Way back in the early too mid 90, s we was up scotland on a hunting holliday and we was roadsiding lamping off back of a truck when I lamped a pure white red stag, it was a truly beautiful majestic looking beast. How I wish I would of had a camera to take a pic, a few months later I red in the shooting news back then it had been found shot dead poached with its head cut off. What a sad ending for such a cracking beastie

    Great motors, me and my mate have had 3 foresters. Only downside is they are so thirsty on petrol. And the newer diesels are a bit too expensive for a dogging motor
