  9. I really like these the 307s, cheap and got a huge deep boot for dogs. But I rad on net they prone for loads of problems, the 1.6 hdi gets slated, shame because looks like it has great mpg. Not to fussed about ground clearance
  10. I used to have a astra van the 1.7 cdti, it was great on fuel. But head gasket went on it twice and wouldn't have a van now as I think they are more prone to getting a pull at night
  11. Cheers fellas, I do like the passats but the facelift on a 06 is bit more than I would want to spend on a second car. Hence why I was looking at the focus and the Peugeot 307sw estates they seem to be cheaper and have a decent sized boot with a load cover on
  12. Also been looking at the Peugeot 307 estates, the 1.6 hdi and the slighty older 2.0 hdi. I like the look of these, massive boot for the dogs and looks good mpg, but read bad reports on net. Justlooking for a decent clean estate just as a second car for the dogs and up two or about two grand mark. Just reliability and economy with abig boot with a load cover.
  13. On a 06/07 ford focus diesel estate which is the better engine the 1.6 tcdi or the older 1.8 tcdi or even the 2.0. Looking on the net for info seems lots of conflicting advice on them, just wondered which is the most economical and reliable engine. Any mechanics on here can shed any light ? cheers atb

  18. I wonder if gps4us is still supplying them ready to use in uk. They sound a bit of a drama over here if your not technically minded
  19. Obviously allways have a dog learn to jump, but if it looks a particularly dangerous jump or obstacle I have no shame in lifting my 26 and a half inch dog over it. I no he can probably jump it, but if I think it looks dicey I will lift or try go under. When there in full chase its out of your control then so be it. A few folk seem to make there dogs jump aimlessly over stuff for no reason, I dont see the point in risking an injury. If its your average five bar then get the dog to wait/stay while you get over then give the command to jump over in a calm manner, no jumping the dog while still o
